FULLY EQUIPPED APARTMENT IN THE HEART of BARCELONA, it is located in the very center close to all places of interest and at the same time is it 15 min walking to the sea and beaches!!!!

HISTORIC though bohemian building of the year 1864

I love my guests so I welcome you with a bottle of great Spanish wine and chocolates!

The apartment is located in the heart of the Historical Old City -Ciutat Vella- de Barcelona, in the area with lots of places of interest, best bars and cafes (El Born, that is part of the Old City). It is just 2 minutes walking from famous park of Ciutadella and the Zoo, 2 min from Arc de Triumph and 15 min walking from the famous beaches of the City.

To Passeig de Gracia, most fashionable street of the city, where you can find the best shops (and where Gaudi´s La Pedrera and House of Batllo are located) , it is 15 min walking distance. The area (Old City ) is abundant in historical churches, castles etc. It is VERY central!!! In the same street (in 1-2 min) there are pharmacies, lots of art galleries, small boutiques, supermarkets, non even mentioning the best cafes, restaurants etc..

The apartment has the area of 45 m2 , the bedroom is not so big but the bed is comfortable ( 2 people sleeping) and all necessary towels, bed sheets, fresh linen etc are included.

Bedroom has big ample mirror/glass wardrobe/dressing room with lots of space inside (with lights, hangers, drawers etc). Common area (stairs, entrance) are washed and cleaned every day, a big kitchen combined with living room (TV +Wi Fi) , separate bathroom (with bathtub and shower)

The flat is very clean, renovated, with marble tiles (paving bars) on the floor and in the bathroom, the flat has all necessary equipment- washing machine, refrigerator, household utensils (cups, plates, forks, spoons, glasses etc-so you can easily cook in the flat-also there is oven and microwave), detergents etc.

Good thing about the apartment that it is VERY quiet (despite being in the center) so you can sleep peacefully)) The windows go to the inside yard.

IMPORTANT -The flat looks exactly as it is on the pics; I did not use on purpose any Photoshop or amplifiers because I want my guests to have correct and right opinion about the flat without being misled.

Towels and hairdryer are provided

The Catalunia region

El Born is one of Barcelona's most breathtaking neighborhoods and we'll look at it quickly through the ages. The Borne was alive and well in the medieval times. It was a bustling area actually, as it was in close proximity to the port and many traders became rich and built palaces that can still be seen today on Calle Montcada. In the 16th century there was a a financial crisis because of a downturn in Mediterranean trade and Felipe V destroyed much of the neighborhood to build a fortress, which was later converted into the beautiful Parc Ciutadela.

El born has an almost magical feel. It's an off-beat and fashionable Barcelona barrio that offers up some of the city's best art galleries, funky boutique shopping, and simply excellent, bars, clubs, and tapas.

The architecture and winding streets will take your breath away.

Borne Barcelona is easily accessible by public transportation. The main metro line that runs along side it is the Yellow Line, Line 5, and the major stops are “Urquinaona”, “Jaume 1er”, and “Barceloneta”. You can also get easy access with the Red Line 1 “Arc de Triunf”. There are also many buses and of course cycling!

Over the last 30 years the Borne has turned into the fantastically fashionable neighborhood you see today. It's kept its medieval dress but has gotten quite a few new accessories such as Picasso Museum, Palau de la Musica, the church of Santa Maria del Mar, etc

"Brilliant apartment in brilliant location"

The apartment in the heart of hip El Born and a short walk from El Gotic is small but well positioned. It's got everything you need for a short or slightly longer (as in my case) stay. I stayed for a week, it's suitably quiet at night, and while it was a little chilly on some nights it was otherwise fine. Rena was an amazing host and took great care of me. Communication was excellent and we got on really well. This is a perfect place to explore the older part of Barcelona and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay.

Protip: Picnic is a restaurant about a block away that does absolutely stunning food and wine. Check it out if you stay.
