The apartment is located in a traditional building, which is a modernist work of art. It is part of the urban morphology of the old town of Barcelona. The recent refurbishment respected and totally restored the interior and the modernist façade dating from the late nineteenth century. As a result, the building has no lift available.

How to get there
The apartment is in the ‘PASEO SANT JOAN’, a pleasant, tree-lined boulevard in the Eixample neighbourhood (city centre). The Eixample is the Barcelona's 19th-century historic district where visitors find works by famous architects such as Gaudí and Ildefons Cerdà. A few minutes to the Arco del Triumfo and the Parque de la Ciudadela, and very close to Plaza Catalunya, Paseo de Gracia, the popular "Ramblas", the historic Gothic Quarter, the financial area, the port and other points of interest.
Since the flat is truly right in the centre of the most important sights of Barcelona, it has easy transport by bus, train, tube and taxi to all areas of Barcelona. Also, there is a supermarket, a pharmacy and a variety of excellent restaurants nearby.

PAYMENT: - 30% advance payment to reserve the flat for your dates (payment by bank transfer - preferred or PAYPAL). The remaining 70% is then paid on arrival when receiving the keys. - 200 Euros deposit if working full time and flying in and out, against breakages etc which is repaid on the last day of your stay on returning the keys. - Last day cleaning charge in every reservation: 75€. - Minimum rent: 3 days (2 nights). - Capacity: 3/4/5 people. - Cleaning and change of towels service and sheets available.
CANCELLATION FEES: - Up to 30 days prior to arrival we refund 90% of the reservation fee (10% for bank transfer expenses). - From 29 to 10 days prior to arrival we do not refund the reservation fee. - Less than 10 days prior to arrival we charge 50% of the total amount of rent. - Less than 48h or without cancellation will be charged with the total amount of rent.

Tricia. July 2007 This apartment is in a superb location!! easy access into old and new areas of Barcelona. The zone is wonderful, 10 minutes walking from the Ramblas, Catalunya Plaza or the temple of the Sagrada Familia, in addition to many buses and underground. It is brand new and totally equipped. The interesting thing is how quiet it is, since it is open to yard and not to the street (my husband need total silent to sleep, he could not stand even the tiniest noise!). Good value for your money! We will stay again, strongly recommended, no doubt.
Martin Backman. November 2007 Very good apartment with a nice decoration and everything that we need to even cook our meals there. Located on a central zone of Barcelona (we walked from there to la Sagrada Familia, Placa Catalunya, Ramblas, etc). I think it's a nice choice if you want to visit Barcelona.
