This luxurious new villa with private pool built in the Ibizan style offers the holiday of your dreams. Finished in early 2006, it consists of two independent living areas. The main house has three bedrooms and two bathrooms and the apartment a separate sitting room bedroom and its own shower room. Casa Azul is located in Can Suria in the hills above St. Pere de Ribes, close to the Garraf National park and a few kilometres from the world famous Cava cellars of Codorniu and Freixenet. Barcelona is less than 50 kilometres away.

The Costa Brava/Catalonia region

With more than 300 sunny days a year and thanks to its special micro-climate, 'Summer' lasts longer here than anywhere else in the area. Sitges is a lovely town 35 km. south of Barcelona. It is particularly famous for its long seafront (reminiscent of Nice and Cannes) beauiful sandy beach, as well as for its restaurants, shops and long winding streets. It is an ideal holiday place for visits to the exciting city of Barcelona. (trains run every half an hour from the station at Sitges.).

Casa Azul is situated 15min. by car from Sitges and 10min. from Vilafranca both of which have rail links with Barcelona. Vilafranca in the Penedes is the centre of the world famous Cava wine cellars of Codorniu and Freixenet. The beautiful beach at Sitges together with other beaches at Vilanova and Calafell will satisfy any beach lover. Situated next to the Garraf National Park the area is a nature lover's paradise.

How to get there

Casa Azul is 40 mins from Barcelona Airport which is easily reached from Manchester with Monarch or from Coventry with Thomson.Monarch offer deals with Europa cars which can be picked up at Barcelona airport. A search with www.google.co.uk shows that 17 other U.K. airports offer flights to Barcelona including Birmingham with flybe.

The Main House has a large lounge with a log fire which leads to a large terrace with BBQ etc. The large open plan kitchen and dining area has a balcony overlooking the swimming pool.

There is also a large private terrace beside the swimming pool together with lounge beds, chairs, tables etc. The entrance to the apartment is directly opposite the swimming pool and since it has its own fridge and ceramic hob it is an ideal place to store cold drinks or conversely to boil water for afternoon tea to be drunk beside the pool . A small garden surrounds the villa stocked with tropical trees, bougainvillaea,oleander bushes as well as a tiny orchard of orange, lemon , fig and olive trees.

The owners prefer that there should be no smoking inside the villa and apartment. The villa is not suitable for disabled people as there are many steps on the outside of the villa. The owners can take no responsibility for injuries to guests while they are occupying the property.Guests should have adequate travel insurance in place for their stay.

Conditions

Deposit of 20% required at the time of booking, remainder to be paid 10 weeks before holiday. is due to begin. A further returnable deposit of 200 Euros will be required when you arrive. We will not ask you to pay for the odd broken plate but any serious damage will of course need to be paid for.

Payments can be made in Pounds stirling or Euros. Deposit of 20% required at time of booking, remainder required 10 weeks before start of holiday. Once we have returned your booking confirmation,we cannot refund deposit. ( We would urge you to obtain travel and cancellation insurance.) On arrival at the villa our caretaker will ask you for a 200 Euro returnable deposit. We will not charge for the odd broken plate but serious damage would of course need to be paid for.

What an amazing experience! We have enjoyed every moment of our stay here at Casa Azul. We had everything we could possibly want or need. SAM PASHEN We thoroughly enjoyed this lovely villa. Very spacious and extremely well equipped. Would recommend a visit to Montserrat- fabulous views en-route and spectacular at the top. Sitges was lovely for beaches and shops.PHILIPand SUSAN LEE .Casa Azul looked fine on the net but in reality it was even better. We have enjoyed every moment of the stay especially the opportunity to use the swimming pool. SANNA PILSPANNEN.
