About the home

This is the perfect apartment for a family vacation or a getaway with friends to enjoy a combination of beach, sightseeing and nightlife, for which this location is perfect:

- 2 blocks away from the trendiest beaches in town with the best beach bars and cleanest sand/water.
- 4 blocks away from the best nightlife in town and VIP access to www.cdlcbarcelona.com for our guests
- Bus stop to the old town is right outside / Tourist Bus stop too
- Room Service Menu (available from 5am to midnight provided by the bar downstairs) at very reasonable prices
- Private parking available upon request for 10 Euros per night
- There is a public Gym with a pool 2 blocks away that you can join for 30 Euros a week (www.novaicaria.com)

The apartment has free high-speed Internet wifi, a huge flat screen TV and a satellite receiver with lots of news, sports and movie channels in English, Dutch and German.

This 2-bedroom comfortable apartment looks over a park with palmtrees and the ocean in the back.
There are 2 large bedrooms with comfortable beds and a modern bathrooom with bathtub. There is a couch that turns into a double bed in the living room. All appliances are present, as well as a 46-inch flat screen TV with lots of channels in English, wifi, etc.

Other than the strategic location, also very close to the old quarter called "Poblenou", where there is a fresh market and local stores, public transportation is right outside, with bus no.14 that takes you to the center in 10 minutes, the Tourist Bus stop, which will take you straight to all the sightseeing sites, and the metro, just 3 blocks away.

Just 2 blocks away we have the Port Olympic, where there are lots of restaurants, bars and where you can rent Jetskis, hire a speedboat or sailboat for the day from us, as we are also in the boating industry. Waterskiing, Windsurfing, Wakeboarding, it can all be done just outside the apartment and we have all the toys. Please inquire.

The nearest shopping mall is just down the street and has one of the few theatres with 15 movies in English. There is also a large supermarket in the basement and there are plenty of convenience stores nearby that are open 24-7.

You will find a menu in the apartment with a variety of Spanish food and tapas or a set menu for lunch for as little as 10 Euros at lunchtime. You can order at the bar or just pick up the phone to have the waiters bring it up to your apartment, at no surcharge! The kitchen is open from 6am to midnight so you can totally forget about cooking.

We have a private parking spot for your car. This is 1 block away from the apartment. We charge 10 Euros per night and provide a remote control for you to access the garage.

The Costa Brava/Catalonia/Barcelona region

Next to Costa del Sol, Costa Brava has amazing golden beaches, rocky gorges, unspoiled nooks, sheltered coves, and some of the most attractive and breathtaking scenery in the Mediterranean. Certainly the perfect holiday escape.

The Barcelona / Olympic Village - Beach area

The Olympic Village offers beach, watersport and sailing activities, volleyball, rollerblading, nightlife, fine dining and proximity to the city center and architectural points of interests and musea.

Day trips can also be great fun like visiting Montserrat, going winetasting in the Penedès region, visiting the Costa Brava, Sitges, or even going skiing in the winter just for one day, all within a 1 to 2 hour drive. We will assist you in making these plans beforehand with the greatest of ease!

If you arrive at Barcelona Airport we have our own in-house taxi service with a 6-seater minivan.

Our driver Pedro will wait for you at the baggage claim exit holding a sign with your name on it, and take you straight to his taxi parked at the VIP area across the terminal not having to wait in line.
The price will be the one appearing on the meter (around 35 Euros), no extra charge and you will not have to give him directions on where to go, as he knows exactly where the apartment is.

This also avoids the risk of being ripped off and taken for an unexpected tour, getting lost, etc. Once you check in, you will find Pedro's number on the instructions and you can request his services any time during your stay, even using whatsapp!
