The perfect base for any visit to Barcelona. This building was completely renovated in April 2010 with style and comfort in mind. Not only will you appreciate this wonderful apartment, you can also benefit from being in the heart of this vibrant city with everything you could possibly need within a very short walk.

This lovely apartment is one of several we can offer in the building.

This fabulous two bedroom apartment will ensure that your stay in Barcelona is a comfortable and relaxing one. Recently refurbished, the apartment has a modern and bright feel.

This is surely the perfect location for any business or leisure trip to Barcelona.

Please note that young groups are not permitted in this apartment.

The open plan living/dining and kitchen area has a comfortable sofa where you can kick back and relax after a busy day. The large flat screen TV and DVD can help you relax, though this may not be necessary if you take full advantage of the Barcelona nightlife! In this area and throughout the apartment you will find light wooden flooring and a bright, fresh feel. In the living room, there are French windows leading onto a small terrace and a metal spiral staircase which takes you to a larger terrace where you can fully appreciate the Mediterranean climate and al-fresco dining. There is a table, chairs and loungers.

The kitchen comes completely equipped with everything from coffee-maker, juicer and toaster to dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. With a local market a few minutes away, you will definitely be tempted to try out your culinary skills.

Both bedrooms come with ample wardrobe space. The master bedroom has a double bed and en-suite bathroom and the second bedroom has two single beds.

The full bathroom is modern and elegant in style and comes with shower, washbasin and toilet. Fresh towels and linens are available on arrival.

The apartment comes complete with central A/C and heating and wi-fi internet.

The Costa Brava/Catalonia/Barcelona region

This part of the region includes the whole area surrounding the city. One of its cultural gems is the most extensive museum to be dedicated to the work of Dali. The Teatro Museo De Salvador Dali is located in the artist's home town, Figueres.

Moving further north towards the Albera boundary of the region, we find interesting towns such as Espolla, Vilamalla, Cabanes, Navata, Darnius. Perelada particularly stands out with its medieval centre and castle, in which the well known and loved summer festivals are held.

As well as enjoying the natural and artistic beauty of this area, sporting visitors can also take advantage of some of the best golf courses in Europe, for example in Torremirona or Peralada.

The Barcelona / Barrio Gotico area

The Barrio Gotico or Gothic Quarter is the heart of old town Barcelona and one of the best preserved medieval quarters in Europe, with various Roman remains to be found.

The area itself is a body of pedestrian, interconnecting, narrow cobble stoned streets where you can wander around aimlessly for hours, taking in all the wonderful bars and cafes, restaurants and shop as well as Barcelona’s very famous “La Catedral” (gothic cathedral) which is magnificent and a must see for all visitors.

There is another very distinguished - but less visited Gothic church in this area also, the Santa Maria del Pi. The quiet and attractive Plaça del Pi in front of the church is filled with bars and restaurants with outside seating where a cup of coffee goes down well while watching the quirky street performers which congregate to entertain the visitors most days. The Municipal government (Ajuntament) and Catalan regional government (Generalitat) are in this area standing opposite each other.

Within walking distance from the Gothic Quarter are the famous Las Ramblas, the Liceu opera house, Barcelona City Hall in Placa Jaume, as well as the remains of the old Roman Walls coupled with many more treats from Barcelona's ancient and medieval past.

Plaça Reial is a well known spot, popular for its bars and restaurants and visitors can enjoy outdoor meals in one of the many eateries to be found, (beware of pickpockets!) Here we find the only work a young Gaudí designed for the city council, the Tres Gràcies fountain in the centre and lamp-posts around the plaza.

Although the Gotico is not as incredibly “cool” as the Born or as bohemian as the Raval, it is nonetheless an essential port of call.

If you are taking a taxi from the airport to the apartment, the general cost is between 25 – 35 euros and it will take around 30 minutes in normal traffic. Just ask the driver to take you to the address above. There are also buses running from the airport in to Plaça Catalunya.
