This lovely studio apartment is in the heart of the bustling Las Ramblas in Barcelona.
This great apartment has the advantage of being right in the centre of Barcelona's most famous landmark - Las Ramblas. Comfortably accommodating 4 people, you will literally find everything that you need right on your doorstep.
The Ramblas Studios II apartment is located on undoubtedly the most cosmopolitan street of Barcelona, with the greatest diversity of people, passers-by, shoppers, tourists, civil servants, big shots, comedians, street musicians and night-birds. Just off La Rambla and close by the apartment, you'll find one of Europe's oldest (indoor) markets: 'El mercat de la Boqueria'. In this typically Spanish setting, you'll find locals as well as tourists looking for queso (cheese), serrano (ham) or aceitunas (olives) and the further in you get the more you feel the old Roman marketplace which used to exist back in the day. Venture further in and you´ll be amazed at the wonderfully varied fish market with colourful jovial women serving behind the counter. The metro stop Liceu is within walking distance from the apartment and one of the leading opera lyric houses in Europe the famous Gran Teatre del Liceu is opposite.
The Ramblas Studios II apartment is part of an emblematic and beautiful building - typical of the architecture of the beginning of the century - that has been completely and lovingly restored. This studio is one space of 40m2 which is divided in 2 areas, the living room and the sleeping area.

The bright living room which has a plasma TV and DVD for your entertainment also has a comfortable sofa bed which converts into a double bed for the third and fourth guests.
The sleeping area has a queen size double bed and ample wardrobe space for all of your belongings.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything that you would need to make your stay hassle free and enjoyable.
The modern bathroom has a lovely walk in shower cabinet and comes complete with fresh towels ready for use on your arrival.
All of the windows are soundproofed so even though you are very central, the apartment is very quiet. There is centralised air-conditioning and heating to make your stay comfortable whatever the season.
The Costa Brava/Catalonia/Barcelona region
This part of the region includes the whole area surrounding the city. One of its cultural gems is the most extensive museum to be dedicated to the work of Dali. The Teatro Museo De Salvador Dali is located in the artist's home town, Figueres.
Moving further north towards the Albera boundary of the region, we find interesting towns such as Espolla, Vilamalla, Cabanes, Navata, Darnius. Perelada particularly stands out with its medieval centre and castle, in which the well known and loved summer festivals are held.
As well as enjoying the natural and artistic beauty of this area, sporting visitors can also take advantage of some of the best golf courses in Europe, for example in Torremirona or Peralada.
The Barcelona / Las Ramblas area
Just off of Plaza Cataluña the grandiose Paseo de Gracia, home to some of Gaudi's most famous works as well as plenty of amazing stores to keep any guest entertained; from here the visitor can wander around the area known as Eixample, with plenty of local stores, cafes, bars and restaurants this area is home to some great night life.... one block over from Paseo de Gracia the equally wonderful Rambla Cataluña, another delightful area to explore in the centre of Barcelona, with lots of stores and cafes, the visitor can enjoy the pedestrian centre that runs all the way down the centre.

If you are taking a taxi from the airport to the apartment, the general cost is between 25 – 35 euros and it will take around 30 minutes in normal traffic. Just ask the driver to take you to the address above. There are also buses running from the airport in to Plaça Catalunya.
