A beautifully appointed cottage and villa, where you can ease your troubles away. Cottage Rabatta has all modern comforts you need and is very safe for children. The beautiful Tuscan hills that surround the cottage are the ideal backdrop for a cold glass of prosecco and bruschetta! It is well located to enable you to enjoy day trips to the tourist destinations of Florence, Lucca, Pisa, Sienna and even enjoy a day on the beach in Viareggio. But it is also well suited to letting you get to grips with the locals and experience the real Tuscan lifestyle (the wine, the food!!) away from the beaten tourist track and experience restaurants and vineyards and local produce as the Italians use them. A lovely place -. A car is a definite requirement though.
Both the villa & the cottage are presented to a very high standard a comprensive range of new appliances essential for modern living are also provided with this property.

This beautiful villa & cottage is perfectly situated to explore the tuscan region. They can be rented together or separately The centre of Florence is 30 Minutes away, so you can get away from it all or be in the centre of town in no time depending on your mood.There are so many things to see and do.
Lake Bilancino where you can enjoy lots of water sports is 20 min by car The designer shopping mall in Barberino is 20 min by car The auto drome racetrack in Scarperia is 15 min by car Golf Course near Scarperia is 15 min by car
Barberino di Mugello area
Lots of tuscan medival towns to visit, fantastic restaurents recommended by time out magizine and many they have not found yet. Plus wine tasting, food festivals etc Florence is only 30 min away and the beach and pisa 1 hour 30 min away
How to get there
You can fly to Pisa on a budget air line - pick up a hire car, takes one and half hours to drive to the villa from Pisa
You can fly on Direct to Florence - pick up a hire car takes 30 min to drive to the villa
From Pisa & Florence you can also go to the villa by train - to Borgo San Lorenzo and then taxi
We do recomend that you have a car to make the most of the Tuscan countyside

Our five year old loved scootering down its sloped driveway. The beautiful Tuscan hills that surround the cottage are the ideal backdrop for a cold glass of prosecco and bruschetta! It is well located to enable you to enjoy day trips to the tourist destinations of Florence, Lucca, Pisa, Sienna and even enjoy a day on the beach in Viareggio. But it is also well suited to letting you get to grips with the locals and experience the real Tuscan lifestyle (the wine, the food!!) away from the beaten tourist track and experience restaurants and vineyards and local produce as the Italians use them. A lovely place - and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. A car is a definite requirement though. We didn't get to use the amazing pool as we were out of season - but we'll be back."

The Cottage was lovely and I really liked Tuscany and would definitely go back there. The pool was very clean and was always a pleasure to use. The views from The Cottage were beautiful and it felt a very safe peaceful location - in fact I would even consider it for a holiday on my own for a complete unwind.
