Home description
The studio is modern and comfortable, but located on a 17th century townhouse in the centre of the village. It boasts stunning sea views, and is located just five minutes from the beach or mountain walks. The studio has a shower/toilet, large fully equipped American-style kitchen and breakfast bar, huge 6 seater sofa, dining table and a bed for 2 people. WI-FI available. Optionally, you can use the huge sofa to set a 3rd person bed, for a child or even adult.
Only 5 mins walk to the beach, and 15 min. to FINCA DE PLANICI. A perfect place to rest and relax, and also the ideal setting and base for walkers to explore the Serra de Tramuntana in Mallorca. Perfect for snorkelling and relaxing. Totally unspoiled. Wi-Fi on the area.

The Mallorca/Majorca region
Mallorca is one of the most popular European holiday destinations with a reputation for providing stylish and sophisticated vacations for families, business people and those who are looking for sporting activities. This small island has a diversity of landscape from the dramatic Tramuntana Mountain ranges to the fertile plain at the centre of the island to small secret coves and long sandy beaches. Banyalbufar area
Banyalbufar, is a small village hidden in the famous Serra de Tramuntana; the mountains between Andratx and Pollensa. On the same area are Estellencs, Esporles, Deia and Valldemossa. It has a population of less than 500 people and its characteristic scenery is formed by the surrounding mountains, the spectacular terracing dedicated to cultivation and the abrupt coastline. Very near to FINCA de PLANICI, the recently big finca for public use purchased by the majorcan govenrment. Banyalbufar is the best kept secret in Mallorca: a beautiful village halfway between Andratx and Soller on the famous North Shore, or Costa Nord. The mountains and sea offer wonderful walking, including a path that follows the beautiful coastline or over the mountain all the way to Soller. There is a good Jazz festival (BANYALBUJAZZ 2009), the 2nd Jazz festival, in July and August, free entrance. At the Baronia Clouster. Nearby Deia and Valdemossa have long been attracting discerning tourists looking for authentic and beautiful Mallorca. Banyalbufar is coastal, and much more beautiful. Its also tiny, but with enough restautants, bars and beaches to keep you fully amused and chilled.
How to get there
Fly to Palma de Mallorca international airport - Costa Mar is just 30 km from the airport. Cheap flights available from Easyjet.co.uk from main U.K. airports.. Car hire available from www.europcar.es Local buses run regularly between the airport, the city (Palma de Mallorca), and the town. Bus stop next to the apartment (www.transunion.info) with frequent service to Palma de Mallorca (8 times a day).

Two shuttered windows with balconies look out onto the village main square and sea. The property is a studio, so sitting room, kitchen etc, in the same area. Bathroom apart. Cot available on request.
Further details outdoors: The bus stop is next to the apartment and links the village with Palma de Mallorca, and virtually to all the island. (www.transunion.info gives all the times and fares). Bakery serves fresh baked bread daily and some English newspapers are available. Great variety of restaurants, and terrace bars. Pharmacy and doctors consult daily (good spoken English). Extraordinary sceneries of coast. Very near the LA GRANJA HOUSES AND MUSEUM, CARTUJA OF VALLDEMOSSA, and DEIA (Robert Graves Town). Only 1.5 Km to the most photographed coastal tower in Majorca TORRE DES VERGER). And now, incluiding the FREE VISIT to FINCA DE PLANICI, the natural park to admire the milenary olivetrees, cultivation in terraces, bicentenary farmhouses... Huge parking space at 200 meter of apartment.
Further details
Cleaning and linen change at the end of your holiday are included in the price , however, if you book for two weeks, a mid term towel and linen change is included but not an apartment clean. Beach towels are provided , so please do not use the apartment bathroom towels for the beach. Additional cleaning can be arranged as an extra. English-speaking representative on hand to answer any questions.
