It is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac and has off-road parking for up to 3 cars. To the rear of the property is a large garden, allowing you to indulge in a spot of alfresco dining and still offering plenty of room for children to play in.

The local shop and pub are just 5 minute’s walk from the door and the property is well-placed to act as a base from which to explore the county. Full central-heating throughout and an open fire in the sitting-room allow you to take advantage of what the region has to offer, even in the winter months.

The County Cork region

Bantry area

Amongst this breathtaking mountain scenery, you can find evidence of the area’s past, in the shape of megalithic monuments and the ruins of monastic settlements. The climate is very mild and the Gulf Stream has an obvious effect on the area, allowing the growth of semi-tropical vegetation and foliage, which can be seen in the many gardens throughout the region.

There are a number of touring routes along which you can enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the coast, spectacular roads that wind through the mountains, cliff face roadways, and staggering views of mountain lakes, waterfalls, prehistoric monuments, ancient castles and Christian settlements, forts and stately homes with thriving gardens.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'Low', 'Mid', 'High', 'Peak', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
