200 plus years old. Small but very comfortable. Everything is on the ground level except the second bedroom in the loft. The cottage is bright, cheery, and boasts magnificent views from all rooms. Old World Charm, with modern conveniences. Slate floors, open fire, private stone patio for stargazing and day time relaxing. A great escape from anywhere. Mostly heated by wood burning stove, and storage heater.

The County Cork region

The nearest city is Cork, which was named European City of Culture in 2006. Bantry is the nearest town and here you can find many great restaurants and pubs, as well as a supermarket and shops. The county has a stunning coastline and mild climate washed by the gulf stream.
