This separate flat is an excellent addition for families travelling with teenagers or elderly relatives, who want a little space to themselves. The property also offers views over the pretty countryside and plenty of original features including exposed beams and stone walls in addition to two open fires.

Small car park & roadside parking on first come first served basis at Bantry Pier. Rear lawned garden with furniture. 2 well behaved pets welcome. Shop 2 miles via 10 min ferry crossing, pub on island 1 mile. Note: Regular foot ferry service to Whiddy Island from Bantry Pier in Bantry, Co Cork (crossing takes 10 mins - departure times subject to change so check prior to departure). Cars can be parked at Bantry Pier. If car required on island, car ferry service runs to island from Bantry Pier on a Tuesday and Thursday.

The Bantry / Whiddy Island area
Located just off the coast of Bantry in West Cork is Whiddy Island, reached by a 10-minute ferry-ride that runs daily from Bantry itself. This popular island boasts stunning views in addition to a pub and a small restaurant, which serves a variety of locally caught fish including crab and mussels. The surrounding beaches boast excellent water sports facilities, whilst the numerous coves and bays are a great place to swim. Visitors to this wonderful area can enjoy fantastic fishing, bird watching, cycling and walking. Just a short ferry crossing away is the bustling market town of Bantry, full of fascinating shops and welcoming restaurants. The vibrant city of Cork is also just an hour's drive away, for those looking to enjoy a cosmopolitan setting for a day.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
