Home description
This is a very modern, recently built apartment right in the heart of Bulgaria's mountain region, with Stunning views and which sleeps up to 4 people. It is in a large complex, containing many facilities.
The apartment is for all-year-round use. During the summer it is ideal for walking and investigating the beautiful surrounding region, especially in the Pirin mountains close by. Alternatively play golf to your hearts content, on the course, which is just a few metres away from the apartments terrace.
If its Winter skiing you like, then it is just as ideal during winter months to enjoy the many Pistes in the nearby Bansko ski resort.

The Pirin/Rhodope Mountains region
The apartment is situated in the recently opened resort of White Fir in the centre of the Pirin / Rhodope Mountains.
From Sofia take the E79 major road south and follow it for some time until you see the 19 signed for Razlog / Bansko. You will soon start to see signs for the Katarino Spa Hotel, as well as the Pirin golf resort. Follow these signs until you see a sign for the White Fir resort. Take this road for a short time and you will come across the White fir Valley resort which is on your left, go past this and look for Aspen Golf resort, (also on your left). Turn left immediately where this resort is and go along for about 200 metres. The resort you want - White fir Mountain Resort, is on the right hand side, and is made up of four large, well-designed buildings. You will need to register at the main reception in the "Pirin House" central Building, they will be waiting for you. The whole journey from the airport takes around 2 hours.by car. There is also a regular Train Service from Sofia to Razlog / Bansko, which is slow and takes around 5 hours, but is extremely cheap (around £3 per person)
If you wish transfers, from the airport, then we can arrange this for you, and will cost around 75 euros each way. This will take you directly to the White Fir Mountain resort, and is operated by the complex itself. You would need to pay this on arrival.
The journey through the Pirin / Rhodope mountains is truly spectacular. You MUST take your camera / Video recorder. There are many stops on the way.
Once you arrive at the resort, there is lots to see, especially if you have a car, including the Bear sanctuary, where dancing bears have been rescued, and now live in a very natural, but controlled environment. Entrance is free, but it is a charitable organisation, and so it does rely on your generosity when placing a donation. There are also monasteries, which are hidden away in the mountains, but are open to the public. Just look for the signs.
The whole area, is ideal for rambling and walking in the Summertime, and skiing during the Winter months. There are lots of villages to investigate, where you will find warm friendly people who are always ready to welcome tourists, even though they may have limited use of anything other than their own language. During your journey down to the resort, you will see many of them sitting at the roadside selling fresh fruit and vegetables.
Bansko / White Fir Mountain Valley area
The Bansko, White fir Resort has everything to offer the golfer and the skier alike. If you like rambling, walking or just investigating, then this is the ideal region for you. Ian Woosnam has opened an 18 hole golf course, which for around 79 Euros will enable you to play a day of golf in the beautiful Bulgarian Mountains, with warm sunshine during the summer months.
Of course, if it is skiing you like, then durin the Winter months you can take to the Gondola right in the centre of Bansko. This will take you right to the top of the mountains themselves, where you can choose your Piste to ski down.
Bansko itself, has many shops, where you can rent or buy skis, clothing, or anything you need to help you to enjoy your holiday. There are many trainers to assist the beginner, and everything is, as always in Bulgaria, at a price you can easily afford.
So - whether its Summer or Winter, you like, - this resort is ideal for you.
How to get there
Flights are to Sofia International Airport. We would advise you hire a car from Opodo /Europecar. They are available directly from Sofia Airport. The prices vary according to the type and size of vehicle. We usually get a medium sized car, with Automatic transmission and Air-conditioning for around 250 Euros per week. Petrol costs are similar or slightly cheaper than Britain.
There are regular flights to Sofia from all major British Airports. The prices can really vary from around £120 to £550 per person. You MUST shop around - don't be put off by the first price you see. We flew to Sofia in Mid-July 2009 and paid just £122 each. That was with Easyjet. We booked in January 2009, and found that as you got nearer to July/August the prices became more expensive. So PLEASE book early and SHOP AROUND. If you want our apartment, we will hold it for you for 3 days while you book your flights.

Further details indoors: Very modern Apartment, with truly spectacular views and built recently in the White Fir Valley of Bulgaria, close to Bansko. It sleeps up to 4 people, with a double bed in the bedroom. and a sofa in the lounge which opens into another double bed. It has a fully fitted kitchen, which includes a washing machine, cooker, and refrigerator etc.. Overlooking Ian Woosnams Golf Course, it has stunning views of the Pirin mountains in the background, that MUST be seen to be believed, all viewed from the terrace of the apartment.
The apartment has its own Wi-fi connection, Flatscreen TV with 87 channels, MP3 Docking Staton and sound in ALL rooms including the Bathroom.
Further details outdoors: The apartment is built in a very beautifully designed complex, which has a restaurant, bar, and a spa centre, with gymnasium, 2 swimming pools, Jacuzzi, Sauna and many many more features. All of these facilities are included in the price, although for a little extra you can treat yourself to the luxury of a massage, or beauty treatment.
During the winter months there is a regular free bus shuttle service from the complex to the Bansko Ski lift, and takes around 10 minutes to get there.
There are many walking and rambling paths during the summer months, when the temperature in usually a comfortable 30 degrees C. Access to the golf Course is just a very short drive into the Pirin complex, where you can hire clubs, buggies etc for a very modest fee.

This apartment is privately owned by us, but forms part of a complex containing 4 buildings. When arriving at the resort, please go to the White Fir Mountain resort (as apart from the White Fir Valley resort, close by) and please quote apartment B6, Rila House.
We pay for All of the facilities, so that you know that the price you pay, is not just for the apartment, but for everything that the complex has to offer.
However, the apartment is self-catering, and so meals, drinks etc., would need to be paid for when dining in the restaurant or drinking in the bar. There is also room service, which again, would need to be paid for. The apartment will be clean and ready for your arrival, with clean bed-linen and towels.
Conditions
All bookings must be made via the owners. A 50% deposit is necessary to secure the dates required, and the final payment must be made within 4 weeks of travel. We accept payment in 3 ways. By Cheque sent to the address given on request. By direct Bank transfer. By Paypal. .
