About the home

We are delighted to offer a spacious and well equipped studio apartment in one of Bansko’s most highly sought after 4 star properties, located immediately next to the lift station - a complex that has received accolades for its design and facilities.

Our guests receive free access to the Wellness Centre offering full spa facilities (indoor and outdoor pools, jacuzzis, saunas, turkish bath, gym). A variety of wellness packages including massages, facials, manicures etc can be booked for an additional cost. It’s a great way to relax and unwind after a day in the mountains in both the summer and winter.

The apartment has internet access, satellite TV and all you will need to make your stay comfortable. It is also conveniently located within a short stroll of the complex bars and restaurants and the old town of Bansko.

In addition to all of this, the new Pirin Golf Course designed by Ian Woosnam is now open and a round of golf can be booked through reception. Horse Riding, quad biking tours, paragliding and other activities can be arranged locally though our onsite management team.

A well equipped spacious studio with balcony and views across Bansko and the Rila mountain range. Furnished to a high standard, the apartment is designed in an L-shape and offers a kitchen area with breakfast bar, living area with 2 sofas (1 sofa bed), bedroom area with a double bed, dressing table and wardrobe and a shower room. The kitchen has a coffee machine, kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge and 2 ring hob.

All linen and towels, plus an end of stay cleaning and laundry service is included.

You will be met on arrival by a member of our management team who will be available to answer any of your questions and assist you with ski hire and any other requirements you have. They speak English, Bulgarian and Russian and are available 24hrs in case of an emergency.

A cot and high chair can be arranged. Please advise in advance if these are required.

Welcome packs can be arranged for you arrival.

For larger groups we can arrange the rental of neighbouring apartment.

The Pirin/Rhodope Mountains region

Bansko is nestled in the Pirin Mountains in South-western Bulgaria, close to the Greek boarder. It’s an all-year round resort with cold winters, long hot summers and a range of activities to suit every need.

Long known for its skiing and historical significance in Europe, Bansko has been a focus for tourism for many years now and there are many places to visit whilst here:

Trigrad Gorge - an amazing climb through the rocks to where the river drops in to the "underworld". Tonnes of wood vanishes in to this cave every year never to re-appear and legend has it that this is where Orpheus returned to the underworld.

Sandanski - a small town bordering Greece where Spartacus, the Thracian Slave who launched an uprising against Rome, was born.

Dobarsko - the location of a small chapel whose walls were recently cleaned to find an old fresco depicting the last supper clearly showing Mary Magdalene at Christ's side painted long before the famed Leonardo da Vinci version. It is alleged that the Templars visited this site and it is linked to stories of the "holy grail".

Rila Monastery - the holiest location in Bulgaria and place of pilgrimage is based high in the forest of the Rila mountains. It is also possible to walk to the cave where St Ivan Rilski spent his days in isolation / hermitage.

Melnik - a major wine growing area famed for its sandstone "pyramid" rock formations unique to this area, in addition to its wine cellars and vineyards.

Plovdiv - originally a Thracian settlement, latterly falling under the rule of the Greeks, Roman and Turks, it is a beautiful city with some of the most visible roman ruins in Bulgaria (amphitheatre, chariot race track).

Roman Excavation - in a small clearing between Bansko and Dobrinishte a small Roman settlement has been found and the archaeologists are in the process of excavating the site.

Pirin Mountains - some of the most accessible walking in Europe which offers a number of trails and 176 crystal clear mountain lakes. Close to Bansko is the Baikushev's Pine (the oldest tree in Bulgaria) which is more than 1,300 yrs old.

Bansko is now Bulgaria's number 1 ski and snowboard resort with 65kms of well maintained pistes which are well signed and easy to follow .

The snow record in Bansko is excellent but additionally there's an infrastructure of modern snow canons that compares favourably with the best in the world. Bansko offers great skiing extending through to mid-April.

But winter fun doesn't end at downhill skiing and snowboarding, there's a fantastic mountain fun park, a town centre open-air Ice Rink, ten pin bowling, casinos and aprés-ski to die for!!!

On arrival in Bulgaria it is possible to hire a car and drive to Bansko, catch a bus which is an extremely inexpensive option from the central bus station or book a private transfer. The journey takes around 2.5 hours by car and 3 hour by bus. We will be happy to arrange your private transfer or provide the bus timetable.

What a great holiday. The apartment was really comfortable and large for a sudio. The spa facilities were a great addition at the end of the day when we wanted to relax after a day on the slopes and the complex restaurants were a convenient option for breakfasts and dinner. There was even a shop onsite. The apartment could not have been closer to the ski lift station or the mehanas (restaurants) which served some excellent food. A great holiday all round.
