Bright and modern two bedroom warm and cosy apartment, sleeps 4 - 6, bedrooms are furnished in traditional style solid wooden furniture, each of the 2 bedrooms has 2 single beds plus double wardrobe, there is also a bedsettee in the lounge we also have a spare Z bed. Central heating and instant hot water. The lounge is spacious with a black leatherette corner sofa, tv and dvd. Wooden floors throughout. Kitchen is bright and modern in beech and stainless steel. There are 2 balconies a large one in the lounge and one in the bedroom, wonderful for sitting on in spring and summer, with landscaped gardens. Lots of facilites available in near by hotels.

The Pirin/Rhodope Mountains region

Bansko is a year round resort, skiing in winter months December through to April, outdoor pursuits in summer months. Bansko borders the Pirin National Park which is criss-crossed by hiking trails for Horse riding, mountain biking, fishing is also available.There is an abundance of wildlife and a popular destination for bird watching.The Rila Monastery arguably the most beautiful in Bulgaria is close by. You can also travel on the Narrow Gauge Railway and take the morning train into Velingrad spend the day shopping and either return by taxi or on the evening train.

Bansko / Gramadeto area

Bansko is the newest ski destination in Bulgaria, ski lessons and ski hire are much cheaper than other european destinations which makes it ideal for the first time skiier, but has something to offer all levels. There are lots of Mexahanas (restaurants) in the village serving traditional food and drink at very cheap prices, if you aren't adventurous try any of the 5 star hotels for western euoropean dishes. There are now three 5 star hotels offering spa treatments and pampering, a full body massage at Tamplier will cost about £20. There is lots of shopping, you can even purchase your ski-wear much cheaper than at home.
