No expense has been spared when furnishing our larger than average 1 Bed Apartment (Living area of 60 sq.m) as you can see from the photos.
Our apartment is on the 1st floor of a brand new development called Mountain View Resort, situated on Pirin Street, just up from the Kempinski Hotel and less than 5 minutes walk from the gondola station.
It is a genuine 400 m from the gondola!! You can also access the ski road through the wood, so you can ski down to the gondola. No Bus required, it is ALL on your door step.
The south facing apartment is bright and spacious, sleeping 4 comfortably, with a balcony providing spectacular views of the Pirin mountains. Sleeping 4 adults or a couple with 2 children. The apartment has a spacious double bedroom, whilst the living room has one double sofa bed. Duvets with linen and extra blankets are provided, along with bath towels and robes. Guests can also relax in the living room watching the TV with DVD, or listening to music with CD/ with I-Pod dock. The Complex benefits from 24-hour reception/security. The Pirin/Rhodope Mountains region
Bansko is Bulgaria's # 1 ski resort, having the best and most modern ski centre of all Bulgarian ski resorts. Bansko has the best snow record and a long ski season from early December through to the end of April. The town of Bansko is located on 925 m. above sea level, and its skiing area is on 2000-2600 m. The Pirin mountain has a predominantly Alpine character and highest peak in the area is Vihren 2914 m.
It is just 160 kilometers away from Sofia (transfers take 2.5 hours) and 6 kilometres from Razlog. Bansko has developed into a favourite ski & snowboard destination, thanks to the excellent ski facilities combined with the unique architecture and history.
At an elevation of just under 1000 meters the town experiences heavy snow falls from November to April. The ski runs are reached by Gondola up to 1600 meters and ski lifts to over 2500 meters. There is reliable snow cover for up to 5 months of the year and the resort is equipped with numerous snow canons to ensure optimum skiing conditions throughout the season.
There is great skiing, snowboarding as well as Extreme Skiing, paragliding and helicopter trips at Bansko, and there is no doubt that Bansko is now the best and most modern ski centre in Bulgaria having the best snow record and the longest ski season (15th Dec - 15th May) of all the Bulgarian ski resorts. The total length of marked pistes is over 70km. There are 44 Snow Cannons which cover most of the slopes and extend the ski season.
Summers in Bansko are warm and sunny so ideal for a wide range of outdoor activities including hiking, fishing, horse riding, mountain biking, quad biking and even white water rafting. There are about 250 sunny days a year.The Bansko summer vacation can therefore be as relaxing or dynamic as one wants it to make. The resort offers unique opportunities for both: leisure with spa wellness, relaxing mountain and ethnographic trips or adventurous sport activities garnished with fine food and drinks, lots of sun, crystal clear and picturesque views.

Bansko / Mountain View area
Bansko is approx. 160km from Sofia. The town is surrounded by panoramic scenery and is a superb resort for both summer and winter visitors. For skiers there is 70 km of pistes with 8 blue, 11 red and 3 black runs something for all levels. The are full crèche facilities and English speaking ski schools. In the summer there is also available horse riding, fishing, golf, bear park, ten pin bowling, quad biking, white water rafting.
The cost of living is low in Bulgaria. Bansko boasts an abundance of après ski life, including numerous restaurants, taverns, nightclubs, casinos, an ice rink, bowling alleys, and horse riding. The traditional taverns are know as Mehana and offer a great local atmosphere with plenty of charm and often host live folk music. There is a good selection of local cuisine and Bulgarian wines and beers as well as a wide variety of international food and drink catering for all possible tastes.
There are many cultural and historical monuments both in the town and in the surrounding region if you have time to explore, with a wide variety of shops supplying essential ski wear and equipment as well as the usual souvenirs.
The Pirin National Park covering over 40,000 hectares is a rugged and unspoilt mountainous region with 45 peaks over 2590 metres high, and 186 pristine lakes, numerous waterfalls, caves and historical sites. The national park is criss-crossed with hiking trails so a good map is strongly recommended for anyone wishing to explore the area.
Bansko is also famous for its mineral springs.

Further details indoors: The kitchen area has everything you will need. It boasts a fridge/freezer, a cooker which has a built in oven and a halogen hob. Also microwave oven, iron and ironing board, toaster, crockery and cooking utensils.
The large bedroom has a double bed, a good sized wardrobe and a dressing table with a mirror. Two bed side tables, with lights. It is nice and light as it has a door leading to the balcony. Windows and door fitted blinds Bed Linins and extra blankets provided Bath towels provided. Plenty of storage, in main bedroom and hallway.
Shower room: The large bathroom has a shower with screen, a sink with a mirror and a toilet. It has a heated towel rail, and full bathroom accessories.
Heating: The apartment is equipped with central heating, and we have also provided separate electical heaters for your comfort and convenience.
Ski/Snowboard Storage: The apartment comes with a free of charge ski locker for ski and snowboard equipment (located within the basement of the Complex).
Exculsive use of our underground parking space for your car or mountain bikes is available free of charge.
The use of the swimming pool saunas, jacuzzi, are included within the rental price of the apartment, and are located on site at Mountain View
