Home description
The studio is large enough to have 4 separate areas (see photos). A king size bed and a double sofa bed sleeps max 4. ( bedding provided ). Satellite TV/DVD, WiFi in the apartment and connections for iPods, MP3's.
Usual cooking facilities. Large, warm and cosy. The studio is in the ideal spot for skiing, walking, climbing, golf, ice skating, bird watching, fishing, cycling, horse riding, sunday market, shopping and Jazz festivals.

The Pirin/Rhodope Mountains region
Bansko has lots to offer, winter and summer. Surrounded by the Pirin, Rila and Rhodope mountains and National parks (UNESCO listed) you will find forests, waterfalls, lakes, caves, deer, wolves, birds of prey, bears and archeological sites where Thracian gold has been found.
The weather is kinder too, summer is hotter and drier , winter although it can get cold, does not feel like our winters. We had 10 days last winter of day long sunshine!
Bansko / Bansko Royal Towers area
As well as other attractions mentioned above there are off road safaris, you can hire a buggy (see photo) at the hotel. The ice rink ( 5 mins walk) is great fun and open late.
Great International Jazz festival in August 2009.
A visit to the Mexhanas to try the local food is a must, they are always warm in winter and very friendly. There is an Ian Woosnam design golf course 15 -20 mins drive away. SKIING-65km marked pistes - longest 16km. Off piste, cross country and snowboarding. 7km floodlit slope between 18.30 - 21.30. 44 snow cannons. Mountain restaurants.
How to get there
Flights to Sofia with Easyjet, Bulgaria Air, Wizzair, Opodo.
Car hire from Sofia or in Bansko.
A taxi from the airport or arranged transfer are about the same price ( at the moment approx 85 euros.) There is a bus service from Sofia ( approx 3 hrs)
There are coach trips to Rila Monastery, Blagoevgrad, Bear park etc. all can be arranged at the Tourist office in Bansko sq. Also local buses.

Further details indoors: The apartment is new and well decorated. A heated area in the basement is also provided for your ski equipment. The view from the window is mountains down to the gondola station a small river and the municipality of Bansko is down over the bridge.
Further details outdoors: Complex facilities free for guests include an indoor and outdoor pool, well equipped gym, jacuzzis, hot tubs, and saunas. There are wonderful spa treatments (prices list available at hotel.) Barbecue area, gardens, play area for children and 2 wonderful restaurants. There is a new shopping mall close to the hotel and a small shop for essentials on the grounds. Bansko is a short walk away.

Conditions
25% deposit required to secure your booking. There will be a £100 refundable breakages deposit due with the last payment.
The complex facilities are unavailable between the 1st-20th May 2009 and the 1st-20th October 2009. The property is still available for letting but there will be no pools or restaurants or general complex facilities at this time.
