Our two bedroom, two bathroom, maisonette apartment is in the brand new Bansko VIP Complex conveniently located in the Glazne Quarter of Bansko, just 5 minutes walk to the numerous Mehana's (restaurants) and bars of the Old Town Square. In fact one of Bansko's finest Mehana's the Banski Han is located just metre's from the apartment. Bansko's main (and only!) supermarket is just across the road from the complex making it easy to stock up on self catering essentials & is ideal for familys. The Glazne Quater also boost's, new 10 Pin Bowling alley, Pub and Night Club. You would also have access to the Spa in the Hotel beside the apartment and last but not least you will have access to the the Complex's Shuttle Bus to and from the Gondola.
Another unique feature of the apartment is the stunning views of the ski resort, Pirin & Rila Mountain ranges from the living area and balcony. The Apartment is very well equipped can accommodate up to six people and has a glass fronted real fire. An important thing to bear in mind when booking accommodation in Bansko is that you simply can't be near the Gondola and the bustling Old Town of Bansko with it's plethora of culture, Mehana's and nightlife.

The Pirin/Rhodope Mountains region
Surrounded by the Pirin, Rila and Rhodope mountains and 95 miles from the capital of Sofia, the ancient town of Bansko is a thriving mountain resort with a population of around 10,000. The skiing season starts in mid December and lasts through until mid April .
Bansko has the finest skiing in Eastern Europe and some of the best value skiing and snowboarding in the world - it offers Alpine quality skiing at Bulgarian prices with diverse, newly renovated, wide tree-lined pistes that give you a variety of skiing for any level. Bansko has the best snow record and the longest ski season (mid December to mid April) of all Bulgarian ski resorts, coupled with the best Apres-ski in Bulgaria.
WINTER: Suitable for Everyone with plenty of good blue runs to practice on, the superb English speaking ski schools at Bansko will help you quickly get to grips with the basics. The ski area is a paradise for intermediate skiers with a total ski run length of 70 km and a lift network of 26km covering 14 picturesque, well maintained pistes.The slopes also give access to some good off-piste skiing and snowboarding. A multi-million Euro project has recently seen the installation of new lifts, including an eight-person gondola.

Bansko - Melnik - Rozen Monastery. Bansko - Rila Monastery. Bansko - Leshten - Kovatchevitsa village (very old medieval villages). Bansko - The Yagodinska Cave (one of the largest caves in Bulgaria). Bansko - The bear park at Belitsa Bansko - Velingrad by the oldest mountain train in Bulgaria and return by car. Bansko - Melnik Biking Trips - Various organised biking trips are available with a guide to various local places of interest. Mountain biking growing ever popular with a 3 day event in summer 09 Horse riding is a fantastic way to see the area, some of the best riding is in the Rila and is only a 20 minute drive from Bansko. They take beginners to advanced, up through the mountains and rivers, at the end your ride, lunch will be served!
Other activities include: Quad biking, white-water rafting, go-karting.
Days out at the many, warm (naturally heated) mineral spa pools, these are fantastic and some have great restaurants with swim up bars and music!

• Easy 3 hour flight to historical Sofia. You can use www.easyjet.com from Gatwick & Manchester, www.wizzair.com from Luton and www.airbg.com from Manchester, www.aerlingus.com from Dublin, www.britishairways.com from London among others. You can also fly to and from Thessaloniki in Greece which is 250km away.
• Transfers - we can arrange your transfer from Sofia Airport for you. The transfer time is a little over 2hrs, and a chance to take in the beauty of Bulgaria. All transfers includes a ‘meet & greet’ service at the airport.
.Once you have booked your apartment and flights, we work with people in Bansko who, in the winter can organize your lift pass, equipment hire, lessons and pretty much anything else you might need for your holiday. In the summer time, again we make it easy for you to organize any activity in and around Bansko.
• Taxis wait at the airport 24/7 and a one-way journey to Bansko should cost no more than €70.
• Buses to the resort are very cheap, only a few pounds! The bus station is a very short walk to the apartment
