Not only is it in the perfect position for the Gondola, its also just a short 5 minute stroll to the Old Medieval Town where you can find an excellent range of traditional restaurants (Mehanas) ,bars,casinos and nightclubs and shops. At the Bansko Royal Towers, you have free use of the Outdoor/indoor pool, mineral spa pool, saunas, jacuzzis, and gymnasium. The Turkish Hamam is payable locally as is the luxurious spa treatments available. (price list available on request)

Summertime temperatures in Bansko can reach 40 degrees centigrade and the outdoor pool provides a relaxing retreat with stunning views over the surrounding mountains. The hotel complex boasts a luxurious spa facility with indoor/outdoor swimming and mineral pools, all of which are free to use. For real indulgence, treatments are available in the spa which include massage, facials, manicures,pedicures and complete packages.

For those of you who like a work-out, the gymnasium is also free to use and the relaxation area is just the place to let your mind unwind and relax.

As well as all the superb on-site facilities, the new Ian Woosnam golf course, which is currently under construction in Razlog, is only approx 10km (a 15 minute drive ) from the development.

The Pirin/Rhodope Mountains region

Bansko is Bulgaria’s premier ski resort, it has the best snow record and the longest ski season to be found in Bulgaria. The season typically lasts 5 months, from mid December to mid April. This is aided by 44 snow cannons which cover 80% of the slopes, making excellent skiing conditions. Bansko boasts 65km of marked pistes with exceptional off–piste and x-country skiing. The longest ski run is 16km, you can ski or snowboard from the top of Todorka mountain right down to the town. If you fancy skiing by moonlight, you can ski 7km on the lighted slope from Banderishka down to the town from 18.30 – 21.30.

Bansko offers skiing and snowboarding to all abilities, from beginners to the advanced. Instructors speak English and there is a kindergarten for the little ones. Lessons are available in the resort and are very reasonably priced.

Snowboarders are well catered for too, in the brand new Snow Park where you will find 90m x 16m half-pipes, an area to create your own jumps and snow towers. I believe these are unique to Bansko, and can only be described as giant needles coming out of the ground.

For those of you who want something even more daring, you will find Para-skiing, heli-skiing and ski-doos available at the resort.

Bansko is surrounded by the beautiful Pirin, Rila and Rhodope Mountains. The medieval town is beautifully preserved with cobbled streets and merchant’s dwellings nestled in the shelter of high stone walls. The town is Bulgaria’s most rapidly developing ski resort. It offers the combination of a modern ski resort, whilst still retaining all of its traditional charm. A wide variety of entertainment will appeal to all visitors, from quaint restaurants, (locally called Mexhanas), coffee shops, to clubs and discos. There are even Internet Cafes starting to open. Surrounding Bansko are several national parks. Rare flowers and birds (vultures, eagles and falcons) along with endangered animal species such as the red deer, wolves and bears can all be found here. The National Pirin Park lies south of Bansko and is included in the UNESCO list for cultural and natural sightseeing. The park spans over 27,400ha and is rich in lakes, waterfalls, caves, century-old trees and historic sites. Many rare plants species are protected within the park, including the near extinct Edelweiss.

Tthere are plenty of activities to suit everyone. Walking, hiking, cycling, white water rafting, rock climbing, horse riding, off road safari and fishing can all be organised and the ice rink is a 2min walk away.

today I got back to work. We had a great holiday in Bansko. The apartment is perfect - well furnished and heated. Just a quick email from us to say a massive thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful apartment. It was perfect for what we wanted and needed. We managed to ski all the time we were there even if it rain on one of the days we were still up there taking our lesson.
We really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend your apartment to anyone who was thinking about going to Bansko. Just to say we tried out the zero restaurant which was good and even managed on the last night to try the old sofia restaurant which although was a little unprepared due to it being the first night, the actual food we ate was probably the best we had had in Bansko all week, and we had some good meals already. The Spa was also excellent.
Thanks for the stay and hopefully maybe we might be able to use the apartment again in the future if it is available.

We actually had a wonderful trip. Your apartment was very large as you said and very clean.
It was excellent value for money. I do nott hink you could improve your apartment apart from pwerhaps having bedding/mattress for a 5th person in our case as our youngest had to sleep with us all week.

Just returned from a great week in Bansko. The apartment and Royal Towers met all our requirements enjoying a drink on the terrace when returning from the slopes and the spa, spoilt myself with some treatments.

Service from reception was fine. Great location, warm and plenty of hot water, brilliant water pressure. Very light, cracking bay window and fantastic radiator. The apartment met our needs and represented good value for money.
