Thats what it is all about when skiing and you can combine this with luxury and exceptionally good value with this 1 bed ( sleeps 5 comfortably) apartment in the prestigous Bansko R oyal Towers complex. This well booked family apartment has unrivaled accommodation, on site facilites , and price make it an ideal,exceptional value skiing holiday. This apartment is spacious ( 78 sm ) and is situated on the 4th floor and offers fantastic views of the mountains from the large balcony. We have spent many evenings watching the sun set over the Pirin mountains from there.

100 m from the gondola (lifts) .This is an accurate distance , unlike many you may be given .

Apre ski is on your door step.The best bar in Bansko is beside the gondola,only 100m from our apartment and there there is an excellent bar in the bansko royal towers complex, where everyone meets after a great day in the mountain.

The apartment is furnished to a "gold certificate"standard, very much in keeping with the considerable expectations of such a complex. Our apartment has all you would expect from a 4 star development and it sleeps 5 comfortably.It has 2 single beds, and a double and single sofa bed and overlooks the beautiful Pirin mountains

The Bansko royal Towers complex offers fantastic facilites such as jacuzzis, steam rooms ,saunas, swimming pools, both indoor any outdoor and a very well equipped gym. Our family really enjoy the leisure facilites that are provided with this complex.After a "tough day on the slopes" we love to sit in the sauna,steam rooms or the jacuzzi,while the kids use the pool, and there is a very well equipped gym in the leisure area.The perfect end to the perfect day.

Further details outdoors:
We are in the nearest accommodation to the only gondola in bansko , and you can walk the 2 MINS from the ski locker room on site with you own heated ski locker, to the gondola, and when you ski back down the mountain you can ski to the locker room. Being so close to the gondola, it makes it so much easier for all skiers. For those with young families,like us,there is no need for bus transfers or a lot of walking,and for those without kids,then it means you waste less time when you reach the bottom of the mountain,before you start the all important apres ski!!

The Pirin/Rhodope Mountains region

Bansko is situated in the south west of Bulgaria at the foothills of the Pirin mountains.The beautiful alpine region offers the intrigue of its ancient town together with providing superb winter sports facilites for both novice and expert.. In 2009 Bansko will host an event in the prestigous world cup skiing and the resort has been completly updated in preperation for this event. Bansko also applied to host the winter olympics for 2014, once again creating massive investment in the skiing infrastructure in the area.

To the south of Bansko is the Pirin national park which is listed in the UN list of national parks and reservations.The park covers over 27,400 ha and is famous for many things such as its lakes, caves,waterfalls and century old trees.

This all year round resort is a wonderland of nature,offering perfect skiing in the winter and a network of trails offers superb hiking and mountain biking throughout the summer months.

The Bansko / Bansko Royal Towers area

The newest Bulgarian winter resort, recently discovered by the foregin tourists. Bansko provides an interesting combination between the virgin nature of the Pirin mountains and the atmosphere of the ancient Bulgarian small town.
it is the highest peak in the Pirin mountains (2914m) and the third highest on the Balkan penninsula.Seen from the north Vihren looks like a truncated pyramid with an impressive vertical wall 420m high at the foot of which lies the perpetual blanket of snow.

Coach from sofia central bus station to bansko costs approx 8 euro and takes approx 3 hours.

A taxi from sofia airport takes approx 2 hours 30 mins and will cost approx 70 to 80 euros.You can get a deal for the return trip.
