Welcome to the Luxury Living!

Our apartment is situated in the 4 star luxurious hotel-apartment, Grand Montana (next to Lion Hotel), only 400 meters from the lift station gondola of Bansko and it opens an extraordinary view to the peaks of the Pirin Mountains. We are lucky to have this view as so many other apartments are being built side by side. The old town of Bansko is also only 15 minutes walk away, a prime location. It has easy access to all amenities including excellent restaurants.

Our apartment has been individually designed and furnished from Ikea, instead of a hotel package. We are proud of the high standard quality of our apartment and we have ensured that it has a cosy, homelike feel to it so our guests to enjoy it as much as we do.

The apartment is ideal for small families with plenty to see and do during the day. We highly recommend the massage service in our hotel as well as the seafood restraurant in the hotel, they will do special for the kids meal individual, just ask.

The Pirin/Rhodope Mountains region

The climate in this mountain region tends to have short hot summers and long mild winters. Snow falls are abundant, providing a constant winter snow cover up to 2 m thick. The area is famous for its majestic folklore and unique cuisine with varied entertainment for everyone.

Bansko area

Bansko is a unique and charming town situated in the Mesta River valley, which is surrounded by three mountains, Rila, Rhodopes and Pirin.

Its name comes from the old Bulgarian word “ban”, which means “master”.

Bansko has the best snow record and the longest ski season (15 Dec - 15 May) of all Bulgarian ski resorts. There are a range of slopes for all abilities and skiiers. Artificial snow is equipped ensuring successful ski conditions. Bansko is applying for the 2014 Winter Olympics.

In Bankso itself there are around 120 historical and cultural monuments. South of Bansko is the National Park Pirin recommended for cultural and natural sight-seeing. Fascinating remains from ancient fortresses are nearby. Bansko is also famous for its mineral springs.

How to get there

Cheap flights are easily accessible now from GATWICK, LUTON and MANCHESTER to SOFIA, the capital of Bulgaria. Some cheap operators include EasyJet, British Airways, Wizz Air, Bulgaria Air and also Lufthansa (although they are not direct flights, the cost is quite cheap)

Flights tend to be around 2-3 hours from the UK to Bulgaria.

Once you arrive in Sofia airport you can get to Bansko by car, bus or train. There is a regular bus service from Sofia to Bansko but we can arrange transport from the airport for a small fee. Taxis are also easy to book.

The apartment is a one-bedroom apartment which has an area between 65-70 sq m, consisting of one plush bedroom, spacious living room with dining area, kitchenette and luxury bathroom. This apartment can sleep up to 6 guests as both sofas in the living area are sofa beds that are easy to use and extremely comfortable with a thick mattress.

The kitchenette is fully equipped and very suitable for self-catering. It includes anything you could possibly need all of high excellence from Ikea. The bedroom has its own television with over 40 satellite channels so you are spoilt for choice. There is plenty of storage space in the modern style wardrobes and cupboards as well as a dressing area with mirror for the ladies. In the living area, you will find a 29” TV set with DVD player and surround sound speakers.

The Grand Montana hotel includes Spa-centre with relaxation therapies and massages, perfect after a day in the mountains! The hotel also offers the 'Pirin' Hall for conferences, meetings etc, a 'Casa di Mare' seafood restaurant with wide selection serving anything and the hotel has room and cleaning services for your conviniece.

The ski station gondola is only a 5 minute walk away but a free shuttle bus is available everyday from our hotel, leaving frequently.
