Two double bedroom apartment with large south facing balcony providing excellent views of the slopes and mountain range. The apartment comfortably sleeps 6 people with 2 double bedrooms (bedrooms can be configured as double or twin beds) and 2 full size sofabeds in the livingroom. Each bedroom is furnished with 2 bedside tables, 2 bedside lamps and a double wardrobe. The open plan kitchen/dining/living room is spacious, modern and comfortable with dining and seating for 6. Kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary cooking utensils and contains ceramic hob, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, electric kettle & toaster.

Main bathroom has double bath with shower fitting, wc, whb, wall heater, mirror and shelf unit. There is an additional cloakroom containing wc, whb, wall heater, mirror and shelf unit.

Spacious heated hall contains 6 coat hook storage rack and plenty of space for all your accessories.

All rooms are heated by wall mounted electrical convection heaters.

A non-refundable deposit of £100 is payable on booking.

The balance is payable 6 weeks prior to arrival date.

A security deposit of £100 will be collected from you on arrival, and returned on departure.

Guests are requested to leave the apartment by 10am on the day of departure to allow for cleaning, but suitcases etc can be left with reception for later collection. The keys must be collected from the offices of our management company, adjacent to the ski gondola. Their normal hours are 8.30am-6pm: Guests arriving after 6pm or before 8:30am can be met at the Top Lodge reception, but this incurs an 'out of hours' call-out fee of £15 for each call out or if both arrival & departure occurs in the same booking a total fee of £20.

The Pirin/Rhodope Mountains region

Bansko is the newest ski destination in Bulgaria, ski lessons and ski hire are much cheaper than other European destinations which makes it ideal for the first time skier and snowboarder. Bansko has something to offer all levels with plenty of blue and red runs suitable for intermediate skiers, while some red runs and the Alberto Tomba black run should keep most experts busy.

The Mountain – Bansko has 65km of marked pistes for you to explore and boasts 59 snow cannons. The ski pistes are located in two main ski centres CHALIN VALOG (1100-1600 m) and SHILIGARNIKA (1700-2500 m). The season last from 15th Dec to 15th April.

Freestyle - Park wise, Bansko shapes up with the first terrain park in the Balkans. The park is well designed and has good progression for everybody with pipes, rails and a mixture of kickers ranging in size from beginner to advanced.

Freeride - Don't think it's just a beginners resort! Some of the terrain is awesome and untouched. With good snow the trees open up giving you some interesting runs and further a field you can hike to get some great off piste (guide and equipment advised).

Lessons - The ULEN Ski-school has some of Bulgaria's best instructors and the renowned British run Method Snow School offers some of the best Board and Ski instruction you are likely to find anywhere in Europe.


Bansko is a mix of historic mountain town and modern ski resort located in the UNESCO protected Pirin mountain range in the South West of Bulgaria. The many traditional Bansko taverns ("Mehanas") offer plenty of local atmosphere, including live music, and a variety of good traditional cuisine and Bulgarian wines. The development of the resort has included the addition of modern bars and clubs which are open to the early hours and provide alternative venues for relaxing or partying. Food and drinks are reasonably priced with a 500cl local beer costing approx 70 pence!

"Brilliant find"

I would thoroughly recommenced staying here! Very roomy for 4 people but fine for 5. Great facilities in the building: Pool, sauna, gym etc and all free. No storage for skis but there is a big enough hall and large balcony in the apartment to compensate.

We managed to eat very cheap by cooking for ourselves about half the week and the kitchen was more than adequate for this. We learnt on the first day not to eat on the mountain as the prices were triple what they were in the town. I would suggest making your own or skiing down to the town for lunch. Try the Pizza place at the edge of the car park; very welcoming and friendly owner! Getting the Gondola back up isn't a problem at this time.

Rooms were very clean and cosy. Nice large bath/shower. Only complaint was that the lights in the kitchen went half way through our stay and were not fixed before we left; however I'm sure they will be working now.

Top tip: the boiler is turned on/off by a switch that looks like a light switch outside the bathroom. DON'T turn it off by accident or your showers will be cold...

"Perfect apartment"

Would definitely recommend this lovely apartment. Great facilities like the hot tub and quiet swimming pool for post ski relaxation. A good kitchen for those nights you feel like staying in, but close to the old and new towns if you want to venture out. The views up the mountain were great too.
