Brand new 1 bedroom ground floor apartment in a good location just 2 minutes by shuttle bus to the gondola, and a 10 minute walk to the old town. The apartment is fully furnished, and is ideal for couples or a small family. It has 2 single beds (can be put together) 1 sofa bed & a double sofa bed. It has satellite TV & DVD with a good selection of films, as well as wifi internet access. The complex facilities includes heated swimming pool, sauna & jacuzzi & gym. Top lodge is situated the other side of the Glazne river in a quiet location, but with the benefit of being near to everything at the same time. It is ideal for the long winter season, and summer season respectively. In the summer there is an outdoor barbecue area. There is also free car parking.

The Pirin/Rhodope Mountains region
Bansko is situated in the South-West of Bulgaria. It is an up-and-coming destination and has the longest ski season in Bulgaria from 14th December to 14th May. It is the number one skiing resort in Bulgaria.
Bansko has developed into a favourite ski & snowboard destination, thanks to the excellent ski facilities combined with the unique architecture and history.
The town of Bansko is located on 925 m. above sea level, and its skiing area is on 2000-2600 m. The Pirin mountain has a predominantly Alpine character and highest peak in the area is Vihren 2914 m.
The beautiful Pirin National park is a UNESCO world heritage site, and has lots to offer all year round . It has over 65 glacial lakes, waterfalls, the oldest tree in Bulgaria, caves, rare, endemic species, and lots of hiking trails
Bansko / Top Lodge area
Bansko is continuing to receive a lot of investment. It has a new gondola and I enclose some information below about the skiing:

It has skiing for all abilities with English speaking ski schools, children above the age of 5 can attend ski school. Also. it has a good range of nursery slopes, which make it great for those on family ski holidays.
It has a exhilarating 16 km intermediate run stretching from the top lift down towards the bottom of the mountain
The Apres Ski is really lively in the winter season. There is plenty of entertainment from traditional restaurants (mehanas) offering typical food from Bansko, live music is some places, cheap beer- less than £1.00. There are lots of discos, pubs, and casinos.
It has a folk music festival in the summer, and an International jazz festival in August. It is not commercial at all, free of charge, and there is music to suit everyone. This year, there was music from 17 different countries.
Bansko has a lot to offer with it's rich culture and heritage. There are 120 cultural monuments, museums, churches, cobbled streets in the old town, and friendly local people
How to get there

Train from Thessalonki to Bulgaria- Blagoevgrad. Direct bus to Bansko (about 1 hr 20 or so)

The balance is payable 8 weeks prior to departure.
A security deposit of £100 will be collected by Property management company (balkan PMS) on arrival, and returned on departure. Please note that a £10.00 out of hours fee we be charged for arrivals after 8pm until 7am payable to management company above. They will assist you during your stay should you have any queries.
Changeover day is usually Saturday - Saturday but I can be very flexible - please contact me.
