About the home

One bedroom with twin beds plus sofa bed in lounge Two balconies with views to Mountains.
Self catering facilities but Hotel restaurant in building, perfect for a great breakfast.

One of the closest properties to the lift in Bansko
Swimming Pool. Gym, Sauna, Jacuzzi (local charge).

Also available is the next door appt (41421). Ideal for larger groups to book both.

Facilities

Further details indoors:
Fully equipped for self catering but with the advantage of being in a hotel with a good breakfast (and other meals!) available.
Comfortably sleeps four, two on the sofa bed in the main room.
Hotel is brand new for 2007 season- be one of the first to experience the luxury facilites. The hotel claims to be 50m from the lift, I reckon more like 100m but its still one of the closest properties available.

Transfers from Sofia can be arranged or there are plenty of sites where you can find them and do it yourself

Discount ski hire and lift passes can be arranged

Breakfast can be paid for at the hotel for 7 leva (3.5euro) per person per day

The Pirin/Rhodope Mountains region

A beautiful region including 3 peaks over 2900 metres. Hundreds of clear blue lakes nestle in the mountainsides and over a hundred varieties of rare plants are found in the UNESCO world heritage site of Pirin National Park.
The climate is Alpine in nature and gives a long ski season December to April. It is also wonderful for walking in the summer

There is a wide range of bars, restaurants and cubs in the town. Prices are low compared to most ski resorts.

Please note there is a lot of building work in Bansko at present, however we understand they have banned major heavy machinery during the peak season.

Private transfers to Bansko can be arranged and take about 2.5 hours. This costs around 150 euros return for 1-3 people , 250 euros return for 4 to 8 people.
Coaches are available from the central bus station although we have not tried this!

Car hire is available from Holiday Autos and others. This may not be a great option in winter due to potential poor conditions!
