About the home

The impressive Bansko Royal Towers complex overlooks the gondola and is a two minute walk over the Glazne River bridge. This brand new 3rd floor apartment has been tastefully furnished and has terrific mountain views, also overlooking the pool.

The Old Town of Bansko with its cosy Mehana's, shops, cafe's and stunning history is a short walk away and the new Ian Woosnam golf course in Razlog is just 10 minutes by car. As well as a winter resort, Bansko is a great place to come for walking/hiking/horse riding and fishing in the summer months.

The complex has many facilities such as restaurants, bars, sauna, jacuzzi, gym, mineral pool, indoor and outdoor pool, shops, bank, satellite TV and internet connection, reception, children's play area and 24/7 security

This large studio apartment (53 sqm) is brand new and has been tastefully furnished comprising of a kitchen/dining area, king size bed, sofa bed, dining table and 4 chairs, TV/DVD, bathroom with shower. Balcony has its own table and chairs to really appreciate the stunning mountain views. Private heated ski locker is provided in Block 2. Smoke alarm fitted. There are two electric hob rings in the kitchen.

The Pirin/Rhodope Mountains region

Situated on the south-west side of Bulgaria at the foot hills of the Pirin range, this beautiful alpine region offers history, superb scenery and its own ancient town. Providing excellent winter sports facilities for both novice and expert and summer activities such as golf, walking/hiking, horse riding, mountain biking and fishing.

South of Bansko is the Pirin National Park, which is listed in the UN list of National Parks and Reservations. The park covers over 27,400 ha and is famous for its lakes, waterfalls, caves, century-old trees and historic sites.

The Bansko / Bansko Royal Towers area

The newest and without doubt, the best Bulgarian winter resort, Bansko provides an interesting combination between the Pirin Mountains and the ambience of the ancient Bulgarian old town.

The town itself is mesmerising and charming. With small back streets hosting cosy fire lit mehana's to delight you with their local delicacies, homecooked food and live traditional music to the street cafe's, shops and architecture it is sure to entice you back again and again.

Bansko hosts an annual beer festival and jazz festival which is extremely popular amongst Bulgarians and foreigners alike. For those who enjoy a stroll around a large Sunday market, Bansko does not disappoint. The town also has an outdoor Ice Rink to enjoy.

Not far away is the famous Rila Monastery which is a must to see.
Founded in the 10th century, the Rila Monastery is regarded as one of Bulgaria's most important cultural, historical and architectural monuments. It is on account of this also a key tourist attraction in Bulgaria and Southeastern Europe as a whole.

I have to admit your apartment was one of the best in terms of location and facilities so I had 8 days great sking and able to relax in the spa and pool which I thought was first rate.
I would certainly recommend staying in your apartment as it was only a few minutes from the gondala , picking up my skis and boots on the way and near to loads of bars and restaurants.
