This large studio apartment, 50 sq metres, comfortably sleeps 2 adults + 2 and includes kitchenette facilities with a dining area, twin beds, double sofa bed in lounge area, bathroom with shower and WC.
Located on the 5th floor, with lift access, the apartment has great mountain views and views down to the town from the balcony. After an exhilarating day on the piste, relax in the sauna and indoor pool located on the lower ground floor of the complex. Other on-site facilities include a lovely modern bar/restaurant (with large flat-screen TV's showing Sky Sports), and Spa centre. Ski storage and underground parking are also available.
You can prepare a meal in the kitchenette whenever you want to eat. Alternatively, an English chef prepares international dishes in the attractive on site restaurant.

The Pirin/Rhodope Mountains region
Surrounded by the Pirin, Rila and Rhodopi mountains, Bansko is a climatic mountain resort and the town is listed as one of UNESCO's World Heritage sites.
The Pirin mountain range is the second highest mountain range in Bulgaria. Extending over an area of 27,400ha and lying at an altitude of 1,008 - 2,914m in the Pirin mountains, the Pirin National Park has a limestone Balkan landscape, with lakes, waterfalls, caves and pine forests. The rugged mountains, with some 70 glacial lakes scattered throughout them, are home to hundreds of endemic and rare species, many of which are representative of the Balkan Pleistocene flora. The so-called Baikousheva mura (a Rumelian pine - Pinus heldreichii), whose age is estimated to be more than 1,300 years grows near to the Banderitsa chalet.The mountains also have diverse and unique landscapes of great aesthetic value.
Bansko / Gramadeto area
Bansko is situated in the Southwestern part of Bulgaria, at the foot of the Pirin mountain. The picturesque town offers its guests a 16 km uninterrupted ski run, starting from Todorka Peak (2600 metres) all the way down to the base station of the cable car on the outskirts of the town.
With a total ski run length of 65 kilometers covering 14 pistes and a ski season that lasts for five months Bansko is the new place to be.
The bars and restaurants are known locally as Mehanas. There are reportedly over 350 in and around Bansko and most produce their own wine. When you order the house red that really is what you are getting!! Most of the local "Mehanas" even offer live folk music.
But Bansko is a year round resort. In the Summer tourists can enjoy horse riding, hiking, mountain biking, paintball, extreme adventures (off road jeep safari, rock climbing, white water rafting etc), excursions to Bulgaria's famous Rila Monastery and a trip on the country's oldest mountain railway. Bansko also hosts annual traditional jazz and Bulgarian folk music festivals and numerous other cultural events.

HI Jane We've returned from a really enjoyable week in Bankso. The apartment was great, thanks for organising for us. The housekeeping was the best ive experienced, it was first class. The maids were constantly cleaning the place. We left a good tip for them, they worked really hard all week. 2. The reception staff were friendly. The lady who spoke really good English was very helpful. 3. The apartment was really well heated and had everything we required. We had a really comfortable stay and it was quiet enough for us to enjoy peaceful early nights given we have a 3 year old. Hope this is of help. Hi Jane Your apartment was great and very convenient. The Dream Complex was lovely and I did have a massage one night. The staff were also really helpful. You must be very pleased with the place. The snow was great, we had a fresh dump on the second night, so plenty of powder. As usual the food and hospitality in Bansko were great. We particularly enjoyed ice skating.
