The Pirin/Rhodope Mountains region
Bansko is situated at the foot of the Pirin Mountains, approx 153kms from Sofia and 80kms from the Aegean Coast in Greece. The beautiful town is surrounded by panoramic scenery and boasts a superb resort for both summer & winter visitors. The old town has charming character with plenty of restaurants and bars offering superb food at ridiculously low prices

Nearest airport is Sofia (2-2.5hrs by car). Easyjet, BA, Bulgaria Air, Hemus Air, Wizzair all fly to Sofia. Car hire and/or taxi transfers can be easily arranged.
