About the home

Ideally located in the heart of Bansko this second floor apartment, overlooking the swimming pool, is comfortable and stylish and has an excellent range of facilities. Guests can make use of the on-site swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, gym, ski rooms and restaurant - inclusive free of charge within your rental price and open between the hours of 10am - 12am and 2pm - 8pm daily. The apartment is close to shops and numerous traditional bulgarian Mehana restaurants. A reliable ski shuttle bus operates at frequent intervals from the site between the hours of 8.15am - 10.15am from the complex to the gondola and 3.15pm -5.15pm from the gondola to the complex. We also offer a one bedroom apartment (sleeps 4) on the ground floor of this block for groups of visitors, finished to the same high specification. - Please note for groups booking both apartments a small charge per week will be made for use of facilities - rates available upon request.

The Pirin/Rhodope Mountains region

Bansko mountain resort is situated in South-West Bulgaria in the foothills of the Pirin Mountain range. It is the gateway to the Pirin National Park, on UNESCOs List of World Heritage sites for its beauty. Pirin is renowned for its spectacular scenery, glacial lakes, waterfalls and caves. The area is rich in heritage and culture with ancient burial mounds, Roman amphitheatres, museums and the world-famous Rila Monastery all within easy reach.

The Bansko / Bojurland Village area

Bansko area
Bansko is a resort with activities to appeal all year round. The ski season lasts from November to Mid April. The mountains are beautiful in the summer months, offering oportunities for walking, cycling and fishing in spectacular scenery.

WINTER

In less than 20 minutes a fast Gondola cable lift will take you to the ski centre. Bansko is one of the few resorts in the world to offer the option whether to return by the Gondola or ski down the ski road, a unique 16-kilometres of uninterrupted skiing, starting from Todorka Peak at the highest point, all the way to base station at the outskirts of town.

The ski centre has over 65 kilometres of marked ski runs and cross country tracks.

The ski runs are serviced by a number of cutting edge Doppelmayer ski lifts, chair lifts and drag lifts, including the 8-man Gondola and the four-chair lift with bubble shields to protect from harsh weather.

There is a ski- kindergarten for children from 4 to 7 years old with 3 baby drags, a Wonder Carpets baby track, and a winter/ summer rotunda type Kinder Carousel.

In the Platoto area there is a fun park which has artificial bumps and jumps. You are also given the opportunity to build your own.

Bansko offers what is probably the best après-ski, because it is a unique combination of a modern mountain resort and a living rustic town. Almost a hundred “mehana” dining places offer local cuisine dishes, with traditional song and dance, performed by local artists.

We spent 5 nice days in those apartments.
The apartments are very comfortable and cosy.
We felt very nice there. The complex has a very nice spa facilities with a large swimming pool and a sauna.
The staff are very friendly especially the ones from the ski bus.
There re a lot of parking places and the most important the complex is guarded 24/7.
We recommend this facility as being very nice and well suited for winter trips.

Just returned from our stay in Bansko and thought I'd drop you a line just to compliment you on your apartment.
We had friends staying directly under us and the difference between the two flats is outstanding. Where we had a proper 4 ring hob they had a two ring one. There were several we had over them which made all the difference to our stay- even down to the pictures on the wall making it feel more homely.
Having stayed in quite a few flats around ski regions I'd say yours is the best we've had so far, not just in terms of size but equipment levels and cleanliness. Couldn't even find any used underpants under the washbasin like we did in France last time!
