About the home

Want to ski or board? Bansko is one of the cheapest and easiest places to do this. Perfect for beginners and proficient alike.

Bansko village is surrounded by 3 mountain ranges, Pirin, Rila and Rhodope. The village is full of character, with its original stone buildings and cobbled streets.

Bansko village - 2 minutes walk

ski lift - 5 - 8 minutes walk

ice rink - 3 minutes

strazhite swimming pool - 2 minutes

local shops - 2 minutes

Perfect location.....

5 - 8 minutes walk and you are at the ski gondola. All equipment can be hired on the walk to the gondola or at the gondola itself. One of the best things about skiing in Bansko is that you can ski back down into the village.

The apartment is bright and modern with great views of the pirin mountains. It is cosy in winter as it is one of the few apartments to have the full aircon units, ensuring warm in winter and cool in the hot summers.

Everything is here for a self-catering holiday. TV. Microwave/toaster, coffee maker, electric hob and fan oven cooker .

2 single beds in the large, bright bedroom. 2 double bed settee in the living area. Dining table with seating for 4.

A 2 minute walk from the apartment will take you to the centre of this wonderful village. It has kept all the original buildings but still has everything to offer the modern tourist.

Restaurants are everywhere with the local meat dishes, Kebabs are a must as they arrive on skewers with flames! The restaurants offer children a choice of smaller adult meals as well as a menu of their own.

Bansko is ideal for any family holiday.

There is a sauna and gym in the building, there is an additional nominal charge for the use of these facilities.

The famous Strazhite hotel is just 2 minutes walk away. Use of the pool, gardens, steam etc is available for a minimal fee. Or for something more up market check out the spa facilities at the Kempinski within 8 mins walk.

Why not try this for a bargain summer holiday! With so many nearby hotels offering pools and outdoor seating this is an ideal time to get some sun! The summers here are fabulous. October the temperatures still warm in the day and cooler at night but very pleasant. The ski season starts in December and last through well into April. Ski runs are covered by Snow Cannon.
