The apartment is very well equipped to a luxury standard throughout and will sleep a maximum of 5 people.

The apartment facilities include: hallway, living area with sofa/bed, arm chair and bed, TV/DVD/CD/Satellite TV, 24 hrs wireless Internet, a deluxe fully fitted kitchen and breakfast bar, Bedroom with double bed, side tables, wardrobe and chest of drawers, bathroom with shower cubicle, dining area with oak table and 4 chairs, full electric central heating and balcony.

Bansko is now pretty well known for its great skiing - and this year the 2010 season will boast additional runs, additional chair lifts and more technology on the mountain and new snow machines.
Pirin Apartments are 80m from the Gondola station and has all the best ski hire shops within 2 minutes walk as well as fantastic restaurants close by. Bansko has a long ski season which can begin mid December and run through to early May.

Currently Bansko is investing in all aspects to create a perfect environment for skiers to have great holiday. A brand new resort area with super luxury hotels and holiday apartments is being developed just opposite the Gondola, which also makes Bansko the choice when considering Bulgaria for a winter holiday.

The Bulgarian mountains occupy half of the country's territory, are easily accessible, and are a prime destination for both winter and summer tourist activities, sports in Bulgaria - including skiing, hiking, fishing and canoeing. The major mountain ranges are Rila, Pirin, Rhodope and Stara Planina. Mussala peak, in the Rila mountain range, is the highest point on the Balkan peninsula.

The Bansko area

Bansko is Bulgaria's No.1 ski resort – by far the most modern ski centre of all Bulgarian ski resorts. In recent years the ski centre has had millions of Euros spent in upgrading its facilities.

The Bansko Gondola station immediately gives you the impression of a first class ski resort. Pirin Place apartments are just across the road. Bansko has a long ski season which can begin as early as mid December and runs through to early May.

Currently Bansko is investing in all aspects to create a perfect environment for skiers to have a truly memorable holiday. A brand new resort area with super luxury hotels and holiday apartments is being developed just opposite the Gondola, which also makes Bansko the choice when considering Bulgaria for a winter holiday.

The town of Bansko is located 925 m. above sea level. The Pirin mountain has a predominantly Alpine character and highest peak in the area is Vihren 2914 m. which you will see as you step out of the apartment to walk to the Gondola across the road. The ski pistes are located in two main ski centres and are approximately 10 kilometers above the town on the northern slopes of Pirin at around 2000m.

The Banskoslopes and tracks suit both beginners and experts and are perfect for family ski holidays.


THE APARTMENT IS ONLY METRES FROM THE SLOPES!!

Bansko is a resort which is developing at a pretty fast pace. The Resort Manager, Ulen provides new opportunities for the skiers, for the snowboarders, biathlon and cross country skiing. There are two very new pistes and for extreme skiers there is the fun park zone.

Without a doubt Bansko can offer fantastic skiing and boarding for all levels making this a premier family resort at a fraction of the cost of Europes more well known ski resorts.


SKI EQUIPMENT FOR CHILDREN..

There is a ski kindergarten for kids from 4 to 7 years old with new drags and a ski run.

The traditional Bansko taverns (called "Mehana"), with their exceptional charm and style offer local atmosphere by their cuisine and good selection of Bulgarian wines. Most of the local "Mehanas" even offer live folk music. discos and night clubs go on to the early hours for those who have the energy after riding the slopes all day.

Bansko has two Casinos, both within 5 minutes walk of the apartment. Here you can play all of the usual one-arm bandits, roulette, blackjack, poker etc. The Gold club is on your right hand side as you head down Pirin towards the town square. The other is beside the Strazhite hotel and ten-pin bowling.

The ten pin bowling complex also provides various arcade machines, pool tables, a café and bar. Ideal for families and those still suffering from the night before. It is situated next to the Strazhite hotel on the main road (Glazne) coming into Bansko and about 5 minutes walk from the apartment.

For those not content with shopping during the day, you can continue late into the evening, with most shops staying open until around 8pm. You may find that some of the shops close for siesta between 12pm and 3pm.

Heading from the apartment down Pirin street, you will pass a varied mix of street cafés, Mehanas, restaurants and many small family run shops selling everything from clothes to furniture, ornaments, souvenirs and of course ski and snow boarding shops, including an official Burton outlet.

* Booking fee by cheque or bank transfer for £100 or €150. The balance to be sent 6 weeks prior to holiday arrival.

*A security deposit will be taken of £100 or €150 by our local Property Management agent and will be refunded at the end of the stay. This is purely to cover potential breakages etc.

* A 50% cancellation fee will apply if cancellation is no later than 4 weeks prior to holiday arrival date.

* Very sorry but no pets allowed.

* If more than one apartment is required we can help finding other apartments close to Pirin Place.
