Bansko Royal Towers is a 4 star resort directly opposite the Gondola station in Bansko, Bulgaria's premier ski resport. The town is situated in the Pirin/Rhodope Mountains region, close to the Greek border. Within an hour are the Rila mountains with the famous Rila Monastery and a national bear rescue sanctuary both well worth a visit.
In winter, Bansko is a ski and snowboard resort hosting world championships. The season, lasting from mid December to mid April. caters for all classes of skier and snowboarder with English speaking instructors on hand to help and advise.
Bansko is not just a winter resort. The fine hot weather in summer and the numerous activities on offer such as walking, biking,horse riding and fishing, in scenic national parks are a must for those who enjoy an all embracing holiday.

Bansko is situated in the beautiful and spectacular Pirin mountain range close to the Greek border and south of the Pirin National Park The park is a World Heritage national park with 2 nature reserves within it's boundaries.
Close by is the famous Rila Monasterey and the bear rescue sanctuary, both of which are well worth a visit.
Further afield Sofia and Plovdiv offer many attractions and places of interest. Plovdiv is a beautiful city with ancient roman ruins testament to it's period under Roman Rule.
Bansko, Bulgaria's premier ski resort is situated approximately 160km south of Sofia and set in the beautiful Pirin Mountains. It has the longest ski season in Bulgaria, usually running from December to mid April. English speaking instructors are available to help and assist all classes of skier from enthusiastic beginner to the more experienced skier. The resort has 65km of ski runs with the longest run 16km. Slopes include 1 advanced run, 11 intermediate and 8 beginner slopes.
Bansko is an all year round resort with fine hot summers offering something for everyone. The old town is a short walk away where you can sample fine local cuisine at the numerous Mehana's (local taverns) or just enjoy a coffee in the town square.
