The Pirin/Rhodope Mountains region
Bankso lies within the beautiful Pirin mountain range where Winters are cold and sunny offering good smow conditions with great snow cover and summers are warm and sunny. There about 250 sunny days a year. It is popular as a Ski resort but also as a summer retreat for nature lovers, ramblers and moutain bikers.
There is great skiing, snowboarding as well as Extreme Skiing at Bansko, it is said that Bansko is now the best and most modern ski centre in Bulgaria having the best snow record and the longest ski season (15th Dec - 15th May) of all the Bulgarian ski resorts. The total length of marked pistes is 65km. There are 44 Snow Cannons which cover most of the slopes and extend the ski season.

Bansko / Todora Towers area
The cost of lving is very cheap in Bulgaria.Bansko boasts an adundance of apre ski life, including numerous taverns, nightclubs, walks, ice rinks, bowling alleys, horse riding and sleigh rides. The traditional taverns are know as Mehana and offer a great local atmosphere with plenty of charm and often host live folk music. There is a good selection of local cusine and Bulgarian wines.
There are many cultural and historical monuments if you have time to explore with various souvenir shops .
The National Park Pirin is located south of Bansko and has numerous lakes, waterfalls, caves and historical sites. Bansko is also famous for its mineral springs.
How to get there
Bansko is approximately 2-2.5 hrs drive from Sofia, Bulgarias' capital city. Inexpensive transfers can be easily arranged. There are direct flights from London and Manchester which take approximately 3 hrs.

A non-refundable deposit of £100 is require at the time of booking. Balance of payment to be paid 3 months prior to date of arrival. On arrival a £100 refundable deposit will be required by the management company to be held in case of any damage to the apartment.
