Home description

This 2nd floor luxurious apartment offers breathtaking views of the Mountains & National Park from its 2 balconies.

Our Holiday Home has wooden flooring throughout and a fitted kitchen with cooker hob, extractor hood and fridge. In the kitchen area you have all the cooking utensils that you have at home. There are two single beds in the bedroom and a pull out sofa in the lounge area, sleeping up to four in total. The dining area consists of a table and chairs.

For the ski fanatics, there is a special ski locker in the basement for your equipment.

In the evenings you can relax in the warmth of the sitting room watching TV or listen to a CD while staring up at the snow-peaked mountains. Some of you may prefer to have a candle lit meal in the dining area.

You have the added benefit of all the local facilitys , shops, pubs, restaurants, spas, saunas & swimming pools which surround this apartment.

Only 200m from the gondola station & close to all other activities such as fishing, white water rafting, paragliding, horse riding, canoeing, golf, tennis & many more!

The apartment is newly built to a high secification and we keep it in very good condition.

The Pirin/Rhodope Mountains region

This mountain region and Pirin National Park are considered one of bulgarias most beautiful locations with idilic forests ,waterfalls & caves!
The skiing is excellent & offers slopes for all abilities across its 14 pistes!
English speaking instructors can be found at the local Bansko ski school whom instruct from the age of 6+. The ski classes are sorted into 5 difficulty levels. So, if you are a novice don't worry.

Bansko is situated approximately 161km from Sofia international airport.
This area has the benefit of a 40 million euro investment in state of the art ski equipment ie new gondola , snow guns , ski pass system etc. This is one of the reasons BANSKO IS A CANDIDATE FOR THE 2014 WINTER OLYMPICS.

- The Rila Monastery, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Founded in 1335, it unfortunately burned down in 1833, but was rebuilt with public donations with the work continuing until 1961.Here the heart of Tsar Boris lies buried beneath a simple wooden cross. The monastery contains an ethnographic collection and the museum has a treasury that includes precious icons, medieval gospels, etc. Also, here you can marvel at the famous Raphail Cross carved by the monk Raphail, which took him 12 years using only a fine needle and eventually cost him his eyesight!

- a Rehabilitation Park for Bears co-financed by the Brigitte Bardot Foundation and Vier Pfoten, this is to re-adapt Bears back into thier natural surroundings from captivity. It is truly an uplifting experience to see these majestic animals close-up, knowing of the inhumanity that they once suffered.

- the Narrow gauge railway to Velingrad, this line was constructed during the 1920s. It has the highest railway station in south east Europe, and a total of 20 tunnels along the route. You can take the morning train from Bansko to Velingrad where you can enjoy shopping and a spot of lunch, returning to Bansko by car, or waiting for the evening return trip by car.

d) Airport taxis - I should like to advise you that like most cities, taxis at airports are notorous for overcharging, so if you wish to travel by this means of transport, please inform us and we will advise you of the correct amount to pay. I also wish to advise you at this stage, the return transfer is the most economical for time and expence.
