This is a luxuriously furnished apartment with all mod cons to ensure an extremely comfortable stay. No detail has been overlooked. Comprises 2 spacious bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin with extra pull-out bed to sleep 3) and additional sleeping with comfortable double and single sofa beds in the lounge, sleeping 8 in total. Bathroom with shower and toilet including towel dryer tower as well as separate toilet and basin. Well equipped open-plan kitchen/dining room with washer/dryer. All linen and towels included. Stereo and television with DVD complete an already very tasteful apartment. The apartment has its own electric heating which can be easily controlled for maximum comfort.

Neighbouring complex's have indoor swimming pools and excellent spa facilities, (variable charges apply). Excellent choice of restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk.

Situated on the second floor with both stair and lift access. The apartment has stunning mountain views, large windows and a south facing balcony. The area outside of the apartment has been pleasantly landscaped and is not a building site!

The Pirin/Rhodope Mountains region

The Pirin Mountains comprise over a 100 peaks higher than 2000m, with Mt Vihren standing the tallest at 2914m just behind Bansko.

Bansko is on the edge of the stunning Pirin National Park, Bulgaria's largest park at 40,447ha. It was placed on Unecso's list of World Heritage Sites in 1983 to protect its varied and unique landscapes, and over 1100 species of flora and fauna.

The Greek coast is a mere 3 hours away which should appeal to those of you wanting a 2 centre holiday. Alternatively there are 2 day organised excursions from Bansko to Greece, with visits to Thasos island and Kavala in the warmer months.


In winter the skiing conditions are excellent, with the highest ski slopes at 2700m with plenty of snow. Bansko is Eastern Europe's number 1 ski resort, having the best and most modern ski centre. It also has the best snow record and the longest ski season (Mid Dec - mid April) of all Bulgarian ski resorts.

The slopes offer runs for all types of skier from novice to expert.

There are 14 pistes totalling 65km including a 16km run plus cross country and off- piste skiing.

Bansko is also very popular for snowboard lovers, and includes a snowboard fun park.

The resort also has excellent ski schools (including English speaking) and hire facilities.

There are also many shops providing opportunities to purchase new equipment at very reasonable prices. Apres-ski is suitable for all tastes and the traditional taverns (mehanas) are very welcoming and dining out is very reasonable. There is a bowling alley and ice-rink for additional or alternative entertainment

During spring and summer there are many hiking trails across the mountains which link to a number of huts and shelters throughout the park . There are many other summer activities including horse riding, fishing, bird watching, quad biking, white water rafting and mountain biking. In the area there are many sites of historical interest including the famous Rila Monastery. For futher information visit

"Lovely place"

Overall we all loved our stay in bankso and were pleasantly surprised when we to there! The apartment is lovely and spacious with modern interior and was very central. There is a big supermarket just Down the road and its just off the main high street with the restaurants and bars. The après ski was brilliant and very cheap e.g £2 a beer and the food was very cheap also. We went to queens pub and eurphoria most nights. Would definitely go back as its half the price of the alps and good for a cheap getaway!

"A really nice apartment"

This was my first summer visit to Bansko and the Pirin mountains and I was very pleasantly surprised by the whole place, beautiful scenery and mountain walks and we had a 10/10 German guide called Wolgang who seemed to know everything about Bulgaria. The apartment was excellent, thoughtfully furnished and in a really good location very close to the main shopping street and ski lift.
