Comfortably sleeping 4 people both the location and the facilities are ideal for a family holiday, being in a quiet area but still very close to all Bansko has to offer. The balcony affords great views of the mountains and the apartment is fully equipped with Satelite TV, a beautiful log fire place and all the comforts of home. Only 900m from the Gondola and 100m from the Glazne river. You will have access to the Sauna, Hot Tub and a secure separate ski room.

The Pirin/Rhodope Mountains region

More than two thirds of the all-seasons mountain resort of Bansko lies within the borders of Pirin National Park on UNESCOs list of world heritage sites for its beauty and is renowned for its spectacular scenery, glacial lakes, waterfalls and caves. The mountain has a major influence on the town climate. Winters are mild, but snowy and long. Summers are cool. Town temperatures vary between -12 and 0 degrees Celcius in winter and between 25 and 35 degrees in summer.

In winter Bansko is the winter sports centre of the Pirin Mountain; during the Summer, Bansko is the premier starting point for a number of tourist routes to the Pirin Mountain. Therefore there are activities to appeal all year round. The ski season lasts from November to Mid April. The mountains offer a fantastic environment for mountain biking, walking, horse riding and fishing during the summer months.

Winter Activities

The Ski centre has a highest altitude ski run of 2560m with lowest altitude ski run of 990m. The total length of marked ski runs, including ski roads is 65Km and accommodates all skiers and snowboarders from beginners to experts. There are also good off piste and night skiing opportunities for the more adventurous !!

Ski runs include 8 blue (for beginners), 11 Red, (for internediate) and 1 black (for expert) there will be no time to get bored. Accessing the slopes couldnt be easier with state of the art auto read cards (thus no photos required) and maximun comfort with an 8 man gondola cable car, five 4 seat lifts, one 3 seat lift, 6 drags and 10 baby drags. When hunger strikes or a thirst takes hold then thre are 10 mountain restaurants to choose from to revive you before you set off again. !
The snow is kept crisp by regular maintenance with snow grooming machines to give optimum usage.

There is also a junior club ski kindergarten with 3 baby drags. a wonder carpets baby track so the kids are kept happy too.

Summer Activities

You can hire or bring your own mountain bike to use along the ski roads, surrounded by spectacular scenery. The area also affords for some wonderful walks, picnics and fishing or even a bit of horse riding or white water rafting.

Apres Ski

Bansko has something for everyone from lively bars and discos to just simply relaxing and going to one of the 100 local style 'mehanas' (restaurants ) for a quiet meal and drink whilst listening to some of the local artists performing.
