This apartment was amazing. My partner and I arrived cold and tired to a warm, clean, and welcoming apartment. The kitchen had everything you could need to be self catering (keeping the holiday nice and cheap), and it was lovely to be in a your own place for the week, not worrying about missing meal times at a hotel and able to relax in peace and quiet. The apartment is about 10 minutes walk from both the gondola and the old town, so while you have the convenience of ameneties nearby you don't have the noise or crowded streets directly outside. The main supermarket in bansko was also only 20 minutes walk away, so we didn't need to get taxis or shuttle buses all week. This was our first ski trip to Bansko, and it was much better than expected. We primarily went because Bansko is so cheap, but we had fantastic snow, excellent instructors, and and thouroughly enjoyed it. The Bulgarian Tavernas were fantastic, as was the spa we visited, and everything was about half the price it would have been in Britain. A great place to go with family and friends or just for a romantic getaway. I'd definitely recommend it, and we'll be back again next winter. |
