The apartment is on the first floor of a new development called Mountain View, situated on Pirin Street, just up from the Kempinski Hotel and less than 5 minutes walk from the gondola station. The apartment is 50m from the piste, providing door to door skiing. The rooms in the apartment are bright and spacious, comfortably sleeping four.

The apartment has a balcony, complete with an outdoor table and chairs.

The apartment is accessed via stairs or lift. The apartment has a spacious double bedroom, whilst the living room has one double sofa bed. Duvets with linen are provided, along with towels.

The Complex benefits from 24-hour reception/security. On the ground floor of the building you will find a swimming pool, sauna and Jacuzzi, perfect for relaxing after a busy day hitting the slopes, sightseeing or hiking. To help you unwind, there is a TV and DVD in the apartment.

The Pirin/Rhodope Mountains region

Bansko is located at the foot of the Pirin National Park, between the Pirin and Rhodope mountains. The town is fortunate enough to experience heavy snow falls from November to April; therefore the resort has reliable skiing conditions for up to 5 months of the year. The resort boasts numerous snow cannons to enhance the skiing conditions if necessary. The ski runs are accessed by Gondola and ski lifts.

Bansko is an all year round resort and is fortunate enough to experience warm and sunny weather in the summer months. There are a number of activities to participate in during the summer, for example hiking, horse riding, mountain biking, fishing, quad biking and white water rafting. Alternatively, the old town is the ideal location to relax in the good weather and watch the world go by from one of the many cafes.

Bansko boasts the most up-to-date, state of the art, ski facilities and infrastructure in Bulgaria, as well as having the longest ski season. The total length of marked pistes is over 70km, with slopes to accommodate all levels of skier.

Bansko / Mountain View area

Bansko is approximately 160km from Sofia. The town is suitable for both summer and winter retreats. For skiers there are 70 km of pistes with something to cater for all abilities. There are crèche facilities available and English speaking ski schools.

The cost of living in Bulgaria is low. There is plenty of choice when it comes to nightlife; there is a great choice of restaurants and taverns. There are also nightclubs, casinos, an ice rink and ten pin bowling. The taverns, locally known as Mehana's, provide great food and a great atmosphere, often with live folk music. In addition to local cuisine, there are restaurants that cater for other international menus.

The town is steeped in history and many historical monuments can be found in the town, and in the surrounding areas. There are varieties of shops supplying essential foods, clothing (including ski wear) and of course souvenirs.

The town is on the edge of the Pirin National Park. The park consists of an unspoilt mountainous region complete with lakes, waterfalls, caves and other historical sites. The national park is ideal for hiking or mountain biking and it has numerous trails; a good map is strongly recommended for those wishing to explore the park; these maps can be obtained locally.
