Situated in an idyllic setting, nestled amongst the beautiful surrounding of Mother Nature with panoramic view of the surrounding mountains in the unspoilt south, the Solitude Bungalows offer you the comfort, the privacy and the tranquility you long for.

The bungalows are comfortably furnished to a high standard, each bedroom with king size bed and air conditioning.
There is a double wardrobe and vanity unit, the door opens on to a veranda.
All linen and towels are provided.
English spoken and Thai. The owner is on site and available to offer his help.

The Koh Samui region

Koh Samui is the 3rd largest island situated on the South East coast of main land,Thailand. It is about 100 miles by air from Bangkok and 5 miles from Surat Thani by ferry.
It is an idyllic tropical retreat surrounded by coconut trees, white sand and blue sea. It is also known as the coconut island.
The bungalows are situated about one kilo-metre from the nearest beach. You can get to the beaches on foot, better on a bike or by car. The beaches are accessible to all in the south.
There is one major road circumvent the island and smaller roads track off from it. You cannot lose your way.
The climate is always warm, with temperatures varying from 25 to 34 degrees Celcius. The island's economy depends mainly on fishing and coconuts, which are its largest exports.

Bann Taling Ngam area

The Solitude Bungalows are situated in the South West coast of Koh Samui Island. Ban Taling Ngam area is considered the quietest and the most picturesque overlooking the Golf of Siam.

Nearby is the famous Grand Father and Grand Mother's rock. The fascinating Magic Garden, the waterfall.
This is a small island and nothing is too far away. The Island is surrounded with mysteries and best to venture and find out what is on this Paradise island if adventure is your theme.
There is elephant ride through the jungle nearby.
A visit to the snake farm nearby where there are shows regularly is interesting.
There are some good specimen fishing nearby. Arrangement can be made via the owner.

The Ragae bar or the Girlie bar is one of the famous hunt for many.

How to get there

There are many choices to make your journey there. You could try the website advertising cheaper flight such as www.travelsupermarket.com or choose a travel agent of your choice.

You also have a choice of how you wish to get to Koh Samui Island. You can arrange to travel to Bangkok airport, then transfer to Koh Samui by local airline. Your luggage will continue its journey to Koh Samui. Alternately, if you are adventurous, you have the option to travel by train to the southern part of Thailand , then take a Ferry accross to Koh Samui.

Transportation is available to take you to your bungalow, Please request.

The bungalow sleeps 2 adults comfortably and children are welcome.
The bedroom door opens onto a veranda where you could have your breakfast outside if you prefer.

There is a hob in the kitchen if you require to cook for yourself. Food is available on request and the restaurants are plentiful not too far away.

In the lounge, there is a Satellite TV, DVD player. A settee seating for four, coffee table.
The kitchen is well equipped for normal culinary use. There is gas and electricity.
You are requested not to smoke inside the bungalows for health and safety reasons. There are no restrictions outside.
It has a swimming pool and sunbathing area for residents only.

There is a swimming pool exclusively for residents and a sun bathing area.
The BBQ is available for doing it yourself or better request the site owner for assistance.
Sun loungers available for use near the swimming pool or on the veranda of your bungalow.
The ground is lush and unspoilt.
The fruit trees grow in their natural setting.
This is probably the quietest spot on the island. You will be glad to be there after a day in town.

Deposit of 25% due at least 8 weeks to secure your booking.
You are advised to book earlier for period commencing beginning of December to January.

There are no restrictions on time or day of arrival and departure.
Transport available to and from Airport and Ferry port if required.
