Children and pets are welcome and the Barn is available for weekends, mid-week breaks and longer stays throughout the year.

At the heart of the Barn is a wonderful open plan living area which incorporates the entrance hall, a custom built country kitchen with range cooker, a stylish dining room and a relaxed sitting area. French doors open from this area into the private enclosed garden, which has a patio, barbecue, tables and chairs and a six person hot tub. Guests love this flowing space, ideal for milling around, playing and relaxing together. In addition to this there is a very comfortable main lounge with a 40" HD TV and lots of sofas, and a further sitting area on the landing with a diverse choice of books available. There are four double bedrooms (three of them with ensuite shower rooms), two twin bedrooms, a family bathroom and a downstairs wc. At the front there is a large drive with ample parking. The owners' home adjoins the Barn and they are on hand if needed (and out of the way if not!).

With expansive views of open countryside, Church Farm Barn is situated between several historic villages, each with their own individual character, and the lovely market towns of Diss, Harleston, and Wymondham are only a short drive away. The East Anglia region

East Anglia is the driest and sunniest part of the UK. Norfolk is famed for its relaxing rural landscapes, big sky, and rich cultural and historical legacy.

Church Farm Barn is located between several picturesque villages in open countryside. There are panoramic views across fields under the 'big sky' and you can walk across fields and cycle along country lanes from the doorstep. We regularly see barn owls, deer, skylarks, wagtails, hares, pheasants and moor hens in the vicinity, and much more besides. There are a range of local shops, play areas, pubs and restaurants within three miles, as well as some places of historical interest for those inclined to search them out. The lovely market towns of Diss, Wymondham, Harleston and Attleborough are only a short drive away, which offer shopping, cafes/restaurants, an auction house, a 900 year old Abbey, small art galleries and other facilities.

There are several major tourist attractions close to the Barn, including Banham Zoo (three miles down the road), Bressingham Steam and Gardens (steam trains and a carousel for the children, a steam museum, the story of 'Dad's Army' and extensive gardens), Snetterton Motor Racing Circuit (which also has one of the largest toy and model shops you will ever see), England's only whisky distillery, High Lodge in Thetford Forest (a great selection of outdoor play equipment, an innovative sound trail, miles of walking and cycle paths, 'Go Ape' high wire adventures for adults and children, Segway rides and summer concerts) and Grimes Graves (a prehistoric flint mine). Wildlife lovers, walkers and dog owners will enjoy visiting Thetford Forest, Whittlingham Broad (which offers abundant bird life), Wortham Ling, Knettishall Heath and Redgrave and Lopham Fen (one of the most important wetlands in Europe), amongst many available options.

Outdoor and sporting enthusiasts can access golf, fishing, sailing, cycling, canoeing, boating, and even survival courses. There are public and private swimming pools nearby. Combat Paintball, Go Karting, driving military vehicles, hot air ballooning, gliding, parachuting and flying are also available. In fact on summer days we often see hot air balloons passing by, some weekends gliders and vintage aeroplanes can be seen flying around, and Old Buckenham Airfield is only a couple of miles away.

The fine city of Norwich is about 15 miles away and has fantastic shopping, history, culture and nightlife. The towns of Thetford, Bungay and Beccles can be reached easily. Slightly farther afield the Barn is well positioned for visits to the Broads, many parts of the Norfolk and Suffolk coast, Southwold, Ely, Great Yarmouth, Bury St. Edmunds and Cambridge.
