A well presented barn set on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. Ideal for activity breaks and all year round. Close to road and rail links with good access to both Anglesey and Snowdonia. Outside there is a sunny rear flagged patio which has a high degree of privacy and is ideal for children.

Ideal base for those who enjoy walking holidays with Snowdonia on your door step.The old slate town of Bethesda lies at the foot of the Nant Ffrancon Pass and has splendid views over the Snowdonia Mountains; at the head of the pass is Llyn Ogwyn. The village is best known as a starting point to discover the delights of walking or climbing Snowdonia.The slopes of Bethesda bear the gouges created by the largest opencast slate quarry in the world, Penrhyn Quarry, from here the slate was transported a short distance to the sea at Port Penrhyn in Bangor.

A well presented refurbished barn which offers comfortable accommodation on the edge of Snowdonia National Park. Set within the hamlet of Tregarth the barn has fine rear views out over the surrounding countryside.

It is in a farmhouse courtyard and Ysgubor is ideal for those looking for a relaxing break at any time of year. It makes for an ideal touring base for those looking to explore this part of North Wales.

Ysgubor has a rear patio area which is ideal for enjoying the superb views with plenty of space for table and chairs. There is adequate parking to the front of the barn and the setting is most peaceful.

The North Wales / Snowdonia/Gwynedd region

Snowdonia is well known throughout the world as an area of outstanding beauty offering a range of activities for people to enjoy. The rugged scenery is breathtaking with mountains, lakes and rivers to enjoy. At any time of the year Snowdonia offers something for everyone from mountaineering to fishing.

There are several tourist attractions to visit from slate and copper mines to museums.

The Bangor - Wales / Tregarth area

The old slate town of Bethesda lies at the foot of the Nant Ffrancon Pass and has splendid views over the Snowdonia Mountains; at the head of the pass is Llyn Ogwyn. The village is best known as a starting point to discover the delights of walking or climbing Snowdonia.

You can visit Penrhyn Castle and the Joys of Life Visitor Centre, which has railway mementos, models, old toys and radios. There is also a quarryman's kitchen and aircraft relics.

There is a variety of fishing available on the Association's waters. You can enjoy fishing in Dyffryn Ogwen's four lakes for their resident wild brown trout. Llyn Ogwen is also stocked regularly during the season with good quality rainbow trout from a local source. You can also fish the River Ogwen as it flows through one of the most impressive valleys in Eryri, good numbers of salmon and sea trout visit the river yearly, wild brown trout are also resident thought the river.
