The North Wales region

North Wales is a great combination of the family seaside resorts, which extend along its northern coastline and of course the magnificent mountains that make up Snowdonia Nation Park. Also located in this region are the very distinctive Island of Anglesey and the Lleyn Peninsula. So visitors will find a diverse holiday destination that caters for many different types of holidays from the family beach holiday to serious climbing holidays, and lots in between. There are plenty of things to do here; walking, sailing, fishing and many indoor attractions for the children. Wildlife enthusiasts will not be disappointed, with Anglesey and the Lleyn peninsula in particular being rich in diverse mix of habitats.

Bangor - Wales

Cyclists and walkers will adore this property as the beautiful Lon Las Ogwen cycle path is nearby and offers the exciting prospect of time spent in some of the beautiful landscapes in all of Wales. For a change of scene a visit to the quirky Penrhyn Castle is highly recommended. Managed by the National Trust and set within approximately sixty acres of grounds, the 19th century castle has an excellent collection of paintings and a varied and interesting range of items on display such as a slate bed made for Queen Victoria weighing over a ton! Just a mile further down the road is Bangor, one of the smallest cities in the UK and affectionately known as the ‘Athens of Wales'. The city lays claim to the second longest pier in Wales and the longest high street! It is a university town, a well established hotpot for classical music and Welsh cultural events as well as boasting a truly, beautiful cathedral. There is an excellent range of shops within the city and a number of high-quality food and drink establishments.
