The North Wales region

North Wales is a great combination of the family seaside resorts, which extend along its northern coastline and of course the magnificent mountains that make up Snowdonia Nation Park. Also located in this region are the very distinctive Island of Anglesey and the Lleyn Peninsula. So visitors will find a diverse holiday destination that caters for many different types of holidays from the family beach holiday to serious climbing holidays, and lots in between. There are plenty of things to do here; walking, sailing, fishing and many indoor attractions for the children. Wildlife enthusiasts will not be disappointed, with Anglesey and the Lleyn peninsula in particular being rich in diverse mix of habitats.

Bangor - Wales

Beudy Newydd is a fantastic base for exploring the popular holiday region of North Wales. To the west lies Anglesey, the spiritual heartland of Wales, and its wonderful array of walking and cycling trails. The coastline here is wild and rugged with numerous, secluded coves and bays just perfect for that family picnic overlooking the sea. To the east are the much loved holiday towns of Conwy, Llandudno, Colwyn Bay and Abergele. Lovers of historic buildings should visit the awe inspiring castle at Conwy and of course no holiday in this region would be complete without a trip to lovely Llandudno, which has been attracting and entertaining holiday-makers for generations. To the south lies the majestic Snowdonia National Park and its breathtakingly beautiful landscape which compares admirably with any other region in the UK. On the definite must-do list should be a visit to the friendly town of Betws-y-Coed in Snowdonian. This is the prettiest of holiday towns and its visitor facilities are excellent.
