Pant-y-lon is a picturesque cottage which nestles in a hollow on a quiet country lane 5 miles from Bangor and the Menai Straits The fields surrounding the cottage are full of sheep on natural pasture. There are many local footpaths to explore.
The cottage is well equipped for 5 . It keeps much of it's original charm. Oil central heating. Fuel and electricity are included in the rent. Coal is provided for the open fire. There is a shower over the bath.

The main bedroom has a double bed. The other bedroom has a single. The sofa bed in the lounge sleeps two more . There are two matresses stored in the crog loft which is not suitable as a bedroom because of ladder access.
Please bring your own duvet covers, pillow cases and towels. One double duvet and three single duvets and ten pillows are provided. Towels and bedlinen can be provided by prior arrangement at a charge of £5 per person

The large garden is about a fifth of an acre. Hammock slung between two apple trees. Outdoor table and chairs. Secure parking for 2 cars.

On booking £60 deposit is required. The balance is to be paid six weeks before the start of the holiday.

The area is teeming with history starting with splendid burial chambers 3000BC through Edward3rd's magnificent castles of Caernarfon and Conway to much industrial archaeology of the 19th century when Penrhyn's famous slate found it's way all over the world.

Mountains,small gage railways,castles, beaches,fishing; the variety and choice is amazing even if there is a wet day.

By car, travel to the junction of the A5/A55 which is 2 miles from Bangor. You are 3 miles from the cottage from this point. Go 2 miles south on the A5 and turnright at a crossroad. Go over the Ogwen River up to another cross road. Turn right here then first left. Further details will be given on booking.

This is our 4th time here. We still love the views and watching the birds in the garden. We went to a copper mine and to a really lovely beach at Rhosneigr on Anglesey with lots of rockpools with crabs and things. (Jim & Jackie)

Just to say thank you for the complimentary bottle of wine and providing a hassle free service. Cottage was perfect other than banging my head on the door frame a few times! I would not hesitate to recommend the cottage or the area.
