This area is a coastal area with many varied & family friendly beaches. Stunning coastal walks & scenic routes. Country parks & town parks. If I were exploring a family day out I would visit the Folk & Transport museum in Cultra, a train ride away in nearby Holywood. If you wanted to explore a little further afield you may choose The Giants Causeway on the Antrim coast, about 1-2 hrs drive north.
