The apartment is fully equipped to western standards with a huge kitchen and dining area, comfortable lounge a vast master bedroom with en suite (and a sunken bath) and a good sized second bedroom, again, with en suite. Enjoy terrace dining with a splendid sea view (the beach is 300 m away). The Club has a bar, pool room and a quite impressive fully equipped gym - probably the best in Phuket - with jacuzzi and sauna. Hiighspeed ADSL connection, pool room and restaurant serving very good, reasonably priced food are also features of this wonderful development .... not to mention the swimming pool!!!!!

The Phuket Island region

Located approximately 862 kilometers south of Bangkok is Phuket, Thailand's largest island, which is often dubbed as the pearl of the Andaman, or the pearl of the south. Its natural resources- rocky peninsular, limestone cliffs, white powdery beaches, tranquil broad bays and tropical in-land forests contribute to making it the South's wealthiest, busiest, most visited and most popular island and province.
Staying on the island is easy, as there are only two seasons in a year - the rainy season (May to October) and the hot season (November to April). The low season of phuket is between September and October as they are the wettest months. The best period for a visit, is from November to February, when it is possible to see the clear blue sky, feel the fresh sea breeze and marvel at the crystal clear water while lying on powdery, palm-fringed beaches. Average temperatures ranges between 23°C and 33°C.

Bang Tao area

Bang Tao is a study in contrasts, with the luxurious resorts and villas along its 8-kilometre stretch of beach just a few minutes' away from the town of Cherng Talay, where many villagers still make their living as their ancestors did - by fishing, farming and rubber tapping. The northern tip of the beach, so far untouched by development, is still an area where visitors might find that they have the beach to themselves.
Play a round of golf at the Laguna Phuket course, practise your swing on the driving range nearby or go horseback riding along the beach. Afterwards, indulge in a massage and spa treatment at the world renowned Banyan Tree spa or at other retreats nearby.

How to get there

A few airlines will fly direct into Phuket airport which is a 20 min drive to the property. However, most flights from Europe will require a change at Bangkok thus presenting you with the opportunity for a few days stopover in this exiting city. Carriers supplying Phuket include Thai Air, Bangkok Airways and Phuket Air .... travel time is 1hr 20 mins. Air-conditioned and non air-conditioned buses leave Bangkok's Southern Bus Terminal for Phuket several times daily. Trips by air-conditioned bus, which normally leaves in the evening, take about 13 hours. There is no direct train service to Phuket. Plenty of car hire companies but you´re best sticking with the traditional (and more expensive) Avis and Hertz from a safety point of view. Taxis are cheap in Thailand also.

This apartment will be exclusively let out to non-smokers. Pets are not welcome. Note that the apartment is on the top floor (4th) and does not enjoy the benefit of a lift. It is therefore unsuitable for people with disabilities or who have problems mounting the stairs. I would also suggest, for the same reason, that the apartment is not suitable for young children. Long term lets welcomed with negotiable prices.
