The kitchen, indoor dining and living are open plan with large folding doors opening both sides of the room, creating a bright and breezy space. The living room is set beneath a spectacular vaulted ceiling which provides a visual splendour that also cools the environment. A stunning water feature off the living and dining room, showcasing a beautiful carved buddha face creates an air of calm and serenity.
The private 10 meter pool includes an integral jacuzzi that sits adjacent to a beautiful sala. The sala, fitted out as one large day bed, provides respite from the heat of the day as well as a fantastic venue for the whole group to come together. The outdoor bar is a great place to enjoy a cocktail as the sun goes down and with the 32" LCD, you can even watch your favourite football team in action while enjoying the benefits of the tropical weather.
The Villa - Three beautiful bedrooms in the main villa, each with their own modern ensuite bathroom and their own individual style open onto the pool.
Garden Suite -A separate garden villa provides two more charming bedrooms and an adjoining TV room. If more beds are required there is even a daybed and trunk bed in the TV room so the garden suite can comfortably accommodate upto six guests. The garden suite comes with a spacious attached bathroom that is the one shared bathroom of the property. The TV room like the main villa living room, is set beneath an elegant Thai style vaulted roof. All rooms in the villa have a TV and DVD player. In the garden suite, there is a 32 inch TV and DVD player in the adjoining TV room.
High Tech Living
An excellent sound system using Denon amps and JBL speakers, give surround sound TV in the living and dining room and can also pipe music to the outside bar and sala. An IPOD docking system allows guest to plug into the integral sound system.
The villa is equipped with mood lighting using a Vantage system that dims and creates a seductive ambience at night.
The villa is also fitted out with a number of universal power sockets in each room so that for appliances using 240v no adaptors are required.
Free wireless internet is accessible throughout the villa aswell as cable TV in all the bedrooms. ( For garden suite Cable TV is provided in the TV room.)

The villa is set within a gated community with 24 hours security. Being a single storey development each villa enjoys total privacy from the next, and is in easy access to restaurants, beaches and shopping.
The villa is set on approximately 1000sqft of land. The garden is lush and tropical and the central focus is the 10 metre private pool. There is a private bar with 4 seats and a LCD screen ideal for those watching who enjoy watching sports, will sipping a beer or cocktail. An oversized daybed set within a Sala is an ideal place for an afternoon snooze, massage or those wishing to stay out of the size but still enjoy the family entertainment.
?A deposit of 50% of the rental amount must be received by the Owner within 3 working days of the date of the Invoice and Payment Instructions. If a deposit is not received within this time, the booking will be deemed cancelled.
Final payment is due 40 days prior to arrival (or 60 days if the booking includes either Christmas or New Year). If the booking is made less than 40 days prior to arrival then full payment is due within 3 working days of the date of the Invoice and Payment Instructions or in cash to the Villa manager on arrival, whichever is sooner.
All payments must be made in US dollars and must be made by Telegraphic Transfer (“TT”) or by credit card via paypal.(For credit card payment we charge 3% surcharge.) Cash can be given to the Villa manager upon arrival only in the case of bookings made less than 3 days before arrival.
Payment may not be made by any other means, including Traveller’s Cheques, personal cheques, or in other currencies.
A security deposit of US$ 2000 or 20% of the total rental amount, whichever is the greater, is required and should be paid directly to the Villa manager in cash and on the Hirer’s arrival. The Villa manager will issue the Hirer with a receipt and the deposit will be returned to the Hirer in full on the day of departure, unless damages or repairs need to be carried out as a result of the Hirer’s occupation of Villa Munay-Ki. In this case, the balance of the deposit will be refunded as soon as the cost of repairing any damage has been determined.
?If written notice of the reservation is received 60 days or more before the arrival date (90 days for any booking including Christmas or New Year), the deposit will be refunded in full less US$500 or 20% of the monies received, whichever is the greater.
If a reservation is cancelled less than 60 days prior to arrival then the Hirer shall forfeit the entirety of the deposit to compensate the Owner for time and effort involved in processing the booking as well as any lost rental opportunities resulting from the presumption of a booking having been made.
Notice of cancellation must be received by the Owner in writing. The Owner will confirm receipt of such notice.
Final payments made will not be refundable in any circumstances.
Each change made to a booking after its confirmation shall be subject to a fee of US$50. The Hirer should be aware that not all changes can be accommodated.
Special Occasions?Normal bookings are for holiday purposes only. Should the Hirer intend to hold a special event in Villa Munay-KI, including but not limited to, a wedding or party for 20 people or more, then special permission must be sought in advance, in writing, from the Owner. Depending on the nature of the event proposed, a surcharge may apply and this shall be discussed on an ad hoc basis with the Owner. Written permission must be obtained from the Owner prior to the hosting of any such event. The Hirer should note that Villa Munay-Ki is located in a residential area and it may not, for reasons beyond the Owner’s control, be possible for the Owner to grant such permission.
There are no surcharges, hidden costs, staff salaries, service fees or any other fees unless otherwise stated. All stated services are included in the cost of renting Villa Munay-Ki. It is normal practice for guests to give a gratuity to household staff and whilst this is to be encouraged, gratuities are given entirely at the Hirer’s discretion.
?The Hirer is responsible for leaving Villa Munay-Ki in good order and in a clean condition. The Hirer will be responsible for compensating the Owner for any damage to Villa Munay-Ki during occupation. Should the Owner believe the Hirer or anyone in his party to be causing excessive damage to Villa Munay-Ki, the Owner may repossess the property immediately and request the Hirer to leave promptly. In this instance, no refund will be made of any monies paid.
?The occupancy of Villa Munay-Ki is 14 persons including a maximum of 10 adults. Villa Munay-Ki reserves the right to refuse any booking which exceeds this requirement.
The Owner does not accept any responsibility or liability for any injury, sickness, loss, damage, additional expense or inconvenience, whether directly or indirectly caused by or resulting from the use, condition or occupancy of any aspect of Villa Munay-Ki, including but not limited to its plumbing, electrical, or structural appointments. The Owner also accepts no liability whatsoever for any personal belongings, whether or not placed in the safes provided, vehicle, and contents of such vehicle of the Hirer, or any member or guest of the Hirer’s party during the occupation of Villa Munay-Ki.
?Should the Hirer believe that he/she has cause for complaint concerning their stay at Villa Munay-Ki, this should be discussed promptly with either the Villa manager or the Owner of Villa Munay-Ki. If the Owner believes the claim has merit then he may, at his discretion, offer a partial refund. This may take some time to finalise. No liability of any sort shall arise beyond the refund of monies paid. Any such claims by the Hirer must be made in writing by the Hirer prior to his/her departure from Villa Munay-Ki so that the claim may be fully investigated in a timely manner. Any claims made after the Hirer’s departure date will not be considered.
Payment of the deposit by the Hirer indicates acceptance of these terms and conditions.
The Phuket region
Phuket is roughly 50 kilometers from north to south and 20 kilometers east to west at its widest point. Depending on traffic, you can drive the whole length of the island in about 1-2 hours. The west coast is home to long sandy swimming beaches and most of Phuket’s bigger resorts. The east coast faces out onto Phang Nga Bay and, with one or two exceptions, is not ideal for swimming. Most east coast resorts offer transfers to nearby islands (as little as 10 minutes by boat) for those who want a traditional day baking on the beach.
One of the most popular tourist areas on Phuket is Patong Beach on the central western coast, perhaps owing to the easy access to its wide and long beach. Most of Phuket's nightlife and its cheap shopping is located in Patong, and the area has become increasingly developed. Patong means "the forest filled with banana leaves" in Thai. Other popular beaches are located south of Patong. In a counterclockwise direction these include Karon Beach, Kata Beach, Kata Noi Beach, and around the southern tip of the island, Nai Harn Beach and Rawai. To the north of Patong are Kamala Beach, Surin Beach and Bang Tao Beach.
These areas are generally much less developed than Patong, and sought out by individuals, families and other groups with a preference for more relaxed and less crowded environs than Patong. There are many islands to the southeast, including Bon Island, just a short boat trip away. There are several coral islands to the south of Phuket, the Similan Islands lie to the north west, and Phi Phi Islands to the south east. Islanders engage in a lively tourist trade, catering to snorkellers and scuba divers.
Bangtao is a study in contrasts, with the luxurious resorts and villas along its 6km (4 mile) stretch of beach just a few minutes' away from the town of Cherng Talay, where many villagers still make their living as their ancestors did - by fishing, farming and rubber tapping. The northern tip of the beach, so far untouched by development, is still an area where visitors might find that they have the beach to themselves.
Taking up a huge area in the middle of Bangtao beach, Laguna Phuket, one of Asia's largest resort complexes, comprises Sheraton Grande, Dusit Laguna, Laguna Beach, Allamanda, Laguna Holiday Club and Banyan Tree Phuket resorts.
The area is full of activities, such as horseriding elephant riding, golf and many international restaurants, bars and spa.
