Surrounded by farmland at the side and rear, the property provides a quiet and comfortable holiday for all ages. In addition to the spacious interior, the private garden contains furniture and barbecue area for summer relaxation.

Situated 3 miles from the coast, It is an ideal base for country and coastal walks, and the many historic attractions of north eastern Scotland.

The Highlands region

The property is three miles from the coast. The coastline of North Eastern Scotland is extremely varied, with spectacular cliffs, sandy beaches and historic harbours within close proximity to one another.

Famous nature reserves are to be found at Spey Bay (Dolphins) and Troup Head (Puffins). The Malt Whisky Trail is within driving distance starting with the Strathisla distillery at Keith.

The rolling hills of Banffshire and Aberdeenshire lead southwards to the rugged Cairngorm mountains.


Banff area

Banff is a beautiful Georgian town. The Mansion at Duff House houses the National Galleries of Scotland Country House Art Collection. Banff is well served with a variety of shops, bars, restaurants and hotels.

The adjoining town of Macduff contains the popular Sea Aquarium. The ancient harbour at Portsoy is home to the International Boat Festival in June each year. Fishing is available from the coast.

Trout fisheries and rivers in particular the rivers Spey and Deveron. Local tackle shops can provide details. There are golf courses at Cullen, Banff and Macduff. A variety of boat trips along the coast can be booked from Banff Marina

The property is situated mid way between Banff and Portsoy. It is 800 metres from the junction of the A98 and A95, on the A95 leading to Keith. Travellers by road will be given precise directions on request
Budget airlines offer regular flights to Aberdeen and Inverness airports from all parts of Britain ,Ireland ,France ,Holland and Norway.
There are main line rail sevices to Inverness and Aberdeen , with a regular connecting line which stops at Keith and Huntly stations

-A deposit of 25% is payable on booking, with the balance paid no later than 10 days before the start of the letting.
