The port village of Gardenstown has a pub serving food, a shop, a butchers and a bakery/grocers, along with a harbour where many small boats are moored. The town of Banff, just 8 miles away offers a sandy beach, shops, restaurants and Duff House, which is an impressive Georgian mansion, plus the area boasts coastal paths, the Whisky and Castle Trail, golf courses, fishing, sailing, dolphin watching and climbing.
