About the home

This charming, grade B listed house provides lovely sea views, and several original features, including a large stone fireplace in the sitting room. This is a spacious house providing four single bedrooms, and a larger family bedroom with one double and 2 single beds which are partioned off for privacy. Also included is a fully equipped kitchen, and two modern bathrooms.

Banff boasts some of the finest beaches unspoiled by human population in the UK. The Aberdeenshire and Banffshire coast is a great place for bird watching, fishing or water sports. Come and see for yourself!

The Banff area

There is an abundance of historic houses and castles in the area, the most famous being Duff House, just a short walk from Evelyn House.One of the finest examples of georgian architecture, Duff House was built in1735-1740 for William Braco, who became the first Earl of Fife 1759 by architect William Adam.
Boasting some of the finest beaches all unspoilt.
The area is renowned for its whisky distilling, with famous Speyside distilleries such as Glenfiddich, Macallan and the Glenlivet being within easy access.
Aberdeen is just 45 mls away and has flights with BA and Easy Jet, or the highland capital of Inverness is 64 mls away
The Duff Royal Golf course is nearby and lots of children's activities at Duff House.
There are lots of beautiful clean sandy beaches.
Also lovely castles to visit
Aberdeenshire has 208 kilometres of unspoilt coastline offering stunning, often deserted, beaches ranging from long stretches of clean golden sand to dramatic rock and shingle beaches, all a haven for wildlife, horse riding enthusiasts, photographers, kite flyers and visitors wishing to experience an unspoilt natural coastline and all that has to offer.

Situated on the A98. Fromm the south follow the A90 north and after Aberdeeen join the A947 towards Oldmeldrum, then follow signs to Banff. Just before Banff you join the A98.
Evelyn House is opposite the church on Banff High St. To access by car go left off Boyndie St (coming from direction of Aberdeen) and take the next left down Walker Avenue. Follow road up the hill and then down the hill and it will bring you in front of the house.
Nearest airport Aberdeen.
