About the home
All cottages are fully equipped and tastefully decorated. Two of the cottages are newly converted barns and the log cabin is also newly built and is situated on its own in the 2.5 acre wood overlooking the River Deveron. The cottages are all set in a 200 year old farm in a rural area surrounded by highland cows, sheep, and free range chickens. There is access to a 2.5 acre woodland and you can walk through it down to the famous River Deveron.
It is ideal for walking, cycling, surfing, following the whisky and castle trails, exploring rugged coastlines, visiting pretty fishing villages, salmon and trout fishing, pony trekking on the door step, golf, visiting National Trust for Scotland properties and even skiing, which is just one hours drive.

All cottages have there own outdoor decking or patio with garden furniture and barbeques and sunshine (but not always a guaranteed!). There is an abundance of wildlife and farm animals. In June and July it is daylight until midnight and during the other months of the year the sky is full of stars.

Owners are English and Dutch speaking.
Towels and Linen are provided.
Arrival after 3pm and guests should depart by 10am on their final day.
No smoking in the properties.
Pets by prior arrangement which will be charged at £25 per dog per week.
Bookings from Saturday to Saturday.
Short breaks available off-peak.
£100 deposit for 1 week, balance 6 weeks before arrival.

The Banff area
Duff House in Banff, golf courses, fishing ports, beaches, Aquarium in Macduff, dolphin and wildlife watching, Whisky trail, walking, Castle trail, surfing at Sandend are all available on the doorstep as well as skiing within an hours drive.
