A recent renovation of old farm buildings creating two holiday cottages in classic, rural English countryside, Indy's Corner has been completely redecorated (May 2013)..
Finished to an excellent standard with high ceilings to enhance the quality and contemporary style. Light and airy throughout with soft lighting, squishy leather sofas and pretty soft furnishings. Bespoke kitchens with granite work tops; natural wood has been retained wherever possible. The cottages have a mezzanine with a double bed and is accessed via space-saving stairs.
Indy's Corner and next door, Baggins Barns (C504) each have French doors out to a private terrace and to the huge garden - ideal for the kids and dogs (please note, there are friendly resident dogs) to have a great time! There is a private terrace/patio for each of the holiday cottages; the huge shared garden is for everyone and although it is not entirely separated from the cottage next door, the whole garden area is enclosed from the farm. Garden furniture and bbq's are provided. Guests are welcome to wander through the grounds - please note, there is a pond near to the main house of which parents should be aware.
On a working farm in the grounds of 'Clattercote Priory' (the family home) which originates from the 12th Century. Clattercote is in the centre of the historic-cultural triangle of Oxford, Warwick and Stratford-upon-Avon (all about a 30-minute drive). Banbury is about 6 miles away for local shops and the Castle Quay shopping mall.
Plenty to see and do; Blenheim Palace, Warwick Castle, Sulgrave Manor, Heritage Motor Museum and more!
Surrounded by paddocks, home to event horses, and gently rising farmland in all directions this is a very friendly, welcoming spot for a rural cottage holiday.
Ground floor: Open plan sitting/dining room with kitchen, two double bedrooms, shower room with bath and shower over.
First floor: Mezzanine with double bed.
Heating and electricity are included - radiators and under floor heating.
Bed linen and towels are provided.
Dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, microwave, electric cooker, TV with freeview, DVD, cd/hifi systems.
Travel cot and booster seat available by arrangement.
Pets by arrangment, £15 each per week or weekend.

"Very dissapointing !!"

Feedback is very important to us so thank you Mr W for taking the time to review your stay at Indy's Corner.
I went to see the cottage personally following your report and carried out a formal inspection. I can confirm that it is now clean, warm, bright and comfy. The owner has agreed however that there are still a few shortfalls in decorating that need addressing, the 'quick' fixes having now been dealt with. The cottage owner has scheduled this to be done as soon as the cottage is available, which is very soon. Thank you again.
